Like swans, doves are peaceful birds! Doves are devoted. They can get attached to people, like dogs do. They can find where their caregivers are and their way back home. They often pair monogamously for at least the breeding season, and some couples will stay together for life. Thanks to these loving qualities, and the way doves raise and care for their young chicks, they are viewed as a symbol of love.
