In Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Taiwan (Formosa)…
To celebrate the 7th International Artist Day, our Taiwanese (Formosan) Association members hosted several screenings of the musicals “Loving the Silent Tears” and “The Real Love.” Inspired by the life and poetry of Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), these musicals were presented in Taichung, Keelung, and Kaohsiung at the end of March and beginning of April 2024. International Artist Day was originally designated by Supreme Master Ching Hai to honor the world’s gifted artists in all fields. Talented presenters and performers for the events included former Cirque du Soleil contemporary dance artist and emcee Billy Chang, as well as the Hua Xiang Drum Group, renowned Korean traditional folk singer Choi Su-Jyung (vegan), and improvisational dance artist Yu Mei-Xin (vegetarian). In addition, American tenor Mark Janicello (vegan) sent a video greeting. Delicious vegan food and gift bags were offered to the guests, who were also treated to displays of Master’s artistic creations such as Longevity Lamps, paintings, and publications. As a grand finale to the musical screenings, attendees were invited to join in singing “Take Each Other’s Hand.”
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai for designating International Artist Day in celebration of the Divinely inspired creativity of the world’s artists. Our appreciation also goes to the members of our Taiwanese (Formosan) Association members for organizing these events that honor artistic expression and promote the compassionate vegan lifestyle. In the everlasting grace of the Buddhas, may all of humanity appreciate the Heavenly artistry of life’s creation, and unite in vegan peace.
