Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, In the beginning, before I followed Master, my mind was not at ease, and I went here and there looking for something that suited my mind. I went to Banyuwangi, to Jepara, fasted according to the instructions of a teacher I met there, but in my heart, I still couldn’t feel stable and accept everything. Until one day, I met a friend who was also looking for a teacher, and he said to me, “If I was asked to fast for a lifetime, would I be able to?” I wondered what fasting was; my friend said that fasting is not eating anything that has a soul. I thought I had been fasting all this time, but I still didn’t feel anything.
Finally, my friend gave me “The Key of Immediate Enlightenment” sample booklet, and I read it. After I finished reading it, I knew that the essence was above all the teachers I had followed so far. I decided to become vegan, and after seven months of being vegan, I was finally initiated into the Quan Yin Method in 2004. During my initiation and meditation, I saw Master sitting on my lap like a child, and I cry every time I remember this. After I was initiated, I tried to get my family to be vegan and follow Master, but it has not been successful. Hopefully, with Master’s Power and Love, one day my family will become vegan and follow Master.
