L’homme-forêt de l’Inde : Jadav Payeng

Jadav Payeng has been planting trees since he was 16 years old on Majuli Island. In this way, he has planted, watered and cared for trees on the island every single day for 40 years and has grown a verdant woodland where previously there was only empty land. Now, the forest has increased to about 550 hectares, and is home to many species of trees. My dream is go fill up Majuli Isaland and Johrat with forest again.
