Today, we are celebrating Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, Peace Be Upon Him, on this joyous occasion known as Mawild AI-Nabi. His birthday is revered in many countries worldwide. They hold festivals in Indonesia and it is very much a family occasion. The Prophet promoted good deeds, tolerance, kindness, unity and forgiveness among people through his words and his own exemplary deeds. Even until today, his light is still a beacon for countless Muslim people.
