In Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Korea…
On June 8, 2024, members of our Association and vegan civil society organizations including the Korean Vegetarian Federation, Korea Vegan Solidarity, Vegan Hero, and Vegan Only Peace gathered in Seoul, Korea, to commemorate World Oceans Day. Together, they called for public attention to the oceans threatened by marine debris and climate change.
During the event, activists spoke out against commercial fishing and human-made pollution, which severely damage marine ecosystems. In addition, they advocated a shift to veganism as a key solution to protect the oceans and its inhabitants. The participants carried colorful, thought-provoking signs and props as they performed for passersby and marched through the historic streets of Insadong. Their earnest voices depict the dire plight of our marine animal friends while echoing the life-saving vegan message.
We thank all the vegan advocates for their creative and courageous efforts in sparking the flames of change to protect our precious marine friends and magnificent oceans. In Divine guidance, may humanity quickly awaken to herald a peaceful vegan world, where all of God’s children, including the animal-people, thrive in love and respect.
