Golestan Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Tehran, Iran. It’s the oldest group of building in the capital city with its foundations dating back to the 16th century. Golestan Palace is famous for its fabulous architecture, a complimentary mixture of classic Persian style and western European. The unique interior decor of the former royal residence is the best surviving example. Another important feather of Golestan Palace is the exquisite palatial grounds, renowned as one of the finest gardens in the ancient Persian style.
