Here is a health tip for you. According to Leslie Kenny, founder of Oxford Healthspan and co-founder of the Oxford Longevity Project, eating and resting in a squat position can potentially help you live longer. The deep resting squat is the position in which your feet are flat on the floor and your hips and buttocks are beneath your knees without too much load on the muscle tissues. Research has shown that the ability to sit and stand up from the floor without using your hands or knees is an indicator that you may be able to live a longer life. Practicing this action builds lower body strength and helps with balance, both of which may help prevent falls and weakness in later life. The joke of the day has just landed on the good laugh platform, so let’s get ready to enjoy it together. It’s entitled, “Landing for the First Time.”
When an airplane was landing, a flight attendant saw a nervous-looking passenger, so she asked:
“Are you alright? Are you exhausted?”
“I think I can take it. Just landing is something I'm not used to.”
“Oh, I guess this is your first time flying?”
“Oh no, this is the first time I've landed inside a plane. I'm a paratrooper.”
