In today’s news, Sweden contributes to United Nations Children’s Fund’s humanitarian program in Yemen, turmoil in American and Swiss banking sector sparks global concerns, farmer in Italy protects crops with solar panels, artificial intelligence helps bring voices back to patients who have lost ability to speak in United States, young candidates win in Japan’s local elections, vegan meat company from Australia now certified carbon neutral, and calming dog-people introduced to more courts in France after successful trial.
I would like to share a tip on how to avoid hurting your beloved dog companion's feelings. Do not rush them on a walk as this may cause frustration. Dog-people like to take their time on walks and sniff things around them. If possible, avoid putting them in uncomfortable situations, such as around fireworks, vacuum cleaners, and even loud music. Remember, they have very sensitive hearing, so if they are scared, remove them from that environment. Pay attention to your furry friends’ behavior and be aware of signs indicating they are in pain or experiencing discomfort, such as shaking their heads, hiding under furniture or licking their paws. If their pain becomes serious, act immediately. Do not ignore the signs.
How about we savor the company of some good laughs as the joke of the day is here. It’s entitled “Put Yourself in My Shoes.”
A wife is using the sewing machine, while her husband comments:
“Honey, you should slow down and be more careful. Please pull the cloth to the left. Watch out! Could you just stop for a while and pay attention to me?”
The wife replies impatiently:
“What are you doing? I know how to sew!”
“I know, honey. But now you know exactly how I felt driving with you yesterday.”
