I have a tip on how to cut and eat a grapefruit easily. You can start your day with a zesty burst of flavor by indulging in half a grapefruit. It’s not just healthy; it’s a juicy, delicious delight that will wake up your taste buds! The preparation is a breeze; all you need is a sharp knife and a minute. Begin by washing the grapefruit well and then cut it in half. For extra stability, trim a small slice off the top and the bottom. Now, use your sharp knife to gently cut around the fruit’s perimeter where the pulp and rind meet. Remember to angle the knife slightly towards the center to match the fruit’s curve. To free up the segments, carefully slice alongside the thin membranes that separate them. You don’t have to be perfect – some fruit left on the membrane is just fine. Now, it’s time to enjoy this delectable grapefruit by placing it in a bowl and scooping out each segment with a spoon. If it is not as sweet as you would like it to be, you can drizzle a little maple syrup or agave syrup on it and let it soak in for a minute first. You can also squeeze out the remaining sweet goodness when you’re done and drink it as a bonus. Grapefruit is a delicious treat, for breakfast or any time!
Now, it’s time to spend a sweet moment with the joke of the day. This one’s entitled, “Foreign Country.”
A realtor was on a call with a client when she realized she was late for her fitness class. As her voice sounded a bit rushed, the client said:
“Am I keeping you from something?”
“Oh, I just have to leave for tai chi soon.”
“Oh, what country is that in?”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Chiao-Heng in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Practicing the Quan Yin Method Benefits One’s Parents
As a person who had been able to see invisible beings since childhood, I always had lots of worries about the unknown world. I worried if there would be anyone to greet and protect my parents in the unknown world if they passed away! But at the age of 18, after following Master to practice spiritually, my life turned around completely! The first time I attended a seven-day retreat, I saw Master leading my ancestors to their liberation. Fortunately, after my initiation, I don’t see invisible beings anymore!
When my father, a smoker for decades, was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and had not much time to live, he prayed to Master in his heart that he wanted to practice spiritually under Master. The night before he asked for initiation, my eldest brother, who also possesses paranormal sensitivities but doesn’t practice spiritually, saw many invisible foes and karmic creditors of my father’s in our house. However, they could only hover around my father’s bedroom door and dared not enter. (Master had been protecting him already.)
On the day of initiation, my frail father miraculously didn’t cough at all and hung in for several hours throughout the initiation process. (Normally, he had been coughing constantly and couldn’t sit up for long.) Witnessing all that, I thanked Master for Her immense Divine Grace with tears all over my face. Master mercifully gave my father the blessing of practicing on Earth for three months. Until the day he passed away, except for coughing slightly, he was able to eat and sleep normally without medication. My father was brought to the crematorium seven days later after his passing. His body was soft with a kindly countenance as if he had been sound asleep. After the cremation, many colorful relic flowers bloomed on his snow-white bones. The fellow brothers and sisters who came to support chanting saw Master’s manifestation body come to take my father away.
My mother also followed Master to practice a little more than a month after my initiation. She passed away at the age of 80. In her more than 20 years of practice under Master before her death, she always had good eyesight and hearing, and she was energetic and rarely got sick. Although Master had informed me a few months before my mother’s passing, I was still sad at the time of parting. Next to her body, I held the familiar, soft hands of hers, and my tears wouldn’t stop coming out till Mother sent me a message saying, “Thank you for leading me to walk the path of spiritual practice!” It was at that moment I raised my head and looked at my mother, whose complexion was rosy with a contented smile!
