African nation to get more relief on its debts.
Sudan’s government has made encouraging progress toward having its financial obligations largely forgiven via the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) plan. This approach was developed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. To be eligible for this special assistance, Sudan recently repaid overdue amounts to the World Bank and the African Development Bank with bridge loans from Western countries. It also needed to pay its arrears to IMF, but His Excellency Emmanuel Macron has announced that this $5 billion debt will be cancelled. In addition, France will provide the necessary bridge loan of US$1.5 billion. This friendly gesture removes the last obstacle to Sudan gaining access to HIPC relief on external debts and attracting foreign investment. Sudan is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance and a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace. Our sincere appreciation, France and other IMF member countries, for your goodwill toward Sudan. May the lives of the gracious Sudanese people be blessed with happiness and prosperity, in Allah’s boundless grace.
COVID patients are susceptible to complications.
In India, fungal diseases have increased among people who were prescribed extended oxygen therapy or steroids to help them survive the coronavirus. Black fungus and white fungus initially cause visible symptoms so they are easier to detect but later they infect the lungs and other organs. Recently, Dr. B.P. Tyagi, in Uttar Pradesh, reported the first case of yellow fungus in someone recovering from COVID-19. In some ways, this one is more dangerous because the illness affects a person’s body internally before there are any outward signs, such as lack of appetite or weight loss. The doctor recommends that citizens keep their homes as clean and dry as possible to prevent the growth of spore-producing organisms. We thank Dr. Tyagi for his advice and dedicated service as we pray for the population of India to find strength, in the reassuring embrace of God’s love.

Hi there, cheerful viewers! I’m Stewart, the vegan Sandfish. You, too, can be a gorgeous and radiant environmental hero. Just be vegan! Here are a few tips to keep your kitchen knife sharp. First, do your slicing and dicing on a cutting board. If you cut on a hard countertop made of stone or crafted glass, you will soon damage the blade. When it needs cleaning, it’s best to carefully wash it by hand using dish soap and hot water. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive and will make a honed edge dull over time. After washing, dry your knife thoroughly with a dish towel and store it properly. Don’t just throw it in a drawer with other utensils. Invest in a knife block or magnetic holder to keep your instrument in top condition. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Prototype system significantly accelerates walking.
Engineers at Stanford University in California, USA, observed that people tend to walk slower as they age. In response, the researchers developed a motorized exoskeleton system that attaches around the upper shins and into running shoes. They tested it with young adults walking on a high-tech treadmill that senses how quickly a person wants to walk. An algorithm controls the system’s motors and ropes to make the walker’s toes extend fully as they push down. This motion enhances the power of the calf muscles, making it easier to walk. Dr. Steve Collins, the senior researcher, reported that participants were able to walk, on average, 42% faster with the exoskeletons. Future trials will focus on restoring walking speeds for older individuals. Kudos, Dr. Collins and colleagues, for such promising results. May we fully appreciate our God-given bodies and extend their usefulness by eating only pure, plant-based food, in the grace of Heaven.
Nations will need to encourage citizens to change lifestyles.
Scientists know that a global transition to plant-based eating is necessary for the future of our planet. Likewise, they are aware of people’s reluctance to comply and want governments to provide incentives. At the University of Michigan in the US, researcher Martin Heller says we need top-down directives to transform the restaurant and food service industries. Dr. Marco Springmann, at the University of Oxford in the UK, advocates legislation to reduce the cost of sustainable foods, making beef and dairy more expensive. British writer George Monbiot – a Shining World Hero Award recipient – comments that ideally, governments should change the food system and stop producing meat. But individuals can make a difference by choosing not to consume animal products. Our grateful compliments, scientists and writers, for your motivating insights. We pray that all leaders will take prompt action to protect the Earth and its inhabitants, in Divine wisdom.
Courageous police work saves two lives in one day.
When the Austin Police Department in Texas, USA, received 911 calls regarding an unconscious person inside a burning truck, the dispatcher sent Officers Eduardo Pineda and Chandler Carrera to the scene. They found the truck’s doors locked, so Officer Pineda started smashing the driver-side window with his baton as Officer Carrera got a fire extinguisher. After unlocking the door, the officers dragged the man to safety just seconds before the truck exploded. Several hours later, the same policemen were first responders to a shooting incident. They assisted a 19-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds until emergency medical services arrived. Outstanding work, Officers Pineda and Carrera! Your bravery and quick thinking are assets to the community. May law enforcement personnel everywhere stay safe, in the love of the Providence.

Another high-end designer decides to stop using fur.
Italian fashion house Valentino plans to be a fur-free brand by the end of 2021 and will close its fur subsidiary, Valentino Polar. Animal rights groups have been trying for years to influence the firm’s decision-makers and are pleased with the recent announcement. The company joins a growing list of luxury labels – including Prada, Gucci, Armani and Versace – that are removing fur from future collections. Not only manufacturers but major retailers like Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue are seeing the light and taking fur off their racks. Hats off, Valentino and all enlightened businesses, for changing your policies to align with modern consumer values. We pray that one day soon, all earthlings will live harmoniously with each other, in Celestial favor and protection.
Nature reserve provides ongoing health care for resident animals.
In 2016, an orphaned nyala was rescued by Michèle Merrifield, co-founder of DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage in Hoedspruit, South Africa. She named the calf Nyalou and fed him by hand until he was strong enough to roam freely on the reserve. In spring 2021, staff members saw the spiral-horned antelope limping with a swollen leg. A local veterinarian, Dr. Peter Rogers, was called in and discovered a thorn lodged between Nyalou’s hooves. After sedating the animal, the doctor removed the cause of the pain and applied medicine to stop the infection. Nyalou recovered nicely and is walking normally again. Thank you, Team DAKTARI and Dr. Rogers, for your efforts to relieve an animal’s suffering. In Divine benediction, may we humans do everything in our power to repay Earth’s fauna for the countless blessings they bring us.
Humor can stimulate your heart and uplift your spirits. Give it a try with our joke of the day titled, “High Hopes.”
A budding young painter named Natasha and some of her artist friends rented a space for their first exhibition. They each stood near their work, answering questions and hoping to make a sale. An impeccably dressed old lady entered the gallery and began surveying the paintings. After a while, she approached Natasha’s corner and was captivated by one of the canvases. She asked:
“Excuse me, are you the artist who painted this?”
“Yes, ma’am! I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.”
“Wonderful! Can you please tell me who made the dress the girl is wearing?”

And now we have a heartline from Tien-Ai in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Greetings, dear Master, Since You mentioned in Your lecture in November 2020 that President Trump was being protected by Heaven and angels, I began to get to know the real President Trump, who was totally different from what the mainstream media said. He protected his people from being harmed by narcotics and human trafficking. He fulfilled his promises of helping his people to get out of poverty and improve their living standards as well as the national economy. He truly respects the people and protects them. Regardless of numerous obstacles, he still emphasizes regaining victory through peaceful, non-violent means. People from many countries call him the “President of the World.” The more I know, the more I respect the courage and wisdom of the Trump team, and the more I am grateful to God’s Divine compassion. Increasingly, more supporters of President Trump say that they have gained elevation in consciousness and spiritual awakening. Thanks to the immense Blessing Power from Master and Heaven.
