In today’s news, flood-affected residents in Germany receive financial aid, global warming causing record heat waves and wildfires in western Canada and United States, new study advocates adding offshore wind energy capacity in Australia, Turkey one of world’s top donor nations, professional wrestler turns grief over loss of beloved pig companion into positive action, United Kingdom sushi franchise offers vegan salmon, and dog in China stranded on car nearly submerged by floodwaters saved.

Residents affected by severe floods in Germany receive financial support.

The German state government of Rhineland-Palatinate established an emergency relief fund for residents impacted by the recent flash floods in July 2021. An account at a local bank allows individuals to contribute to the fund, with many stepping forward to offer assistance to those impacted. The German Football League and German Football Association have pledged €3 million in aid to victims in western Germany, along with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) supporting the initiative. German Chancellor, Her Excellency Dr. Angela Merkel, emphasized that all levels of government will assist flood-affected individuals. Her Excellency is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance laureate. We sincerely thank you, Your Excellency Angela Merkel, Rhineland-Palatinate state government, respective football organizations and other aid contributors, for your loving and sincere care for your co-citizens. May all those affected find comfort in their community’s support as they rebuild their lives, in Heaven’s guidance.

Climate change brings more wildfires to Canada and United States.

In June 2021, Canada reached a record high temperature of 49.6 degrees Celsius in the village of Lytton in the province of British Columbia. Ensuing wildfires later destroyed Lytton and engulfed other parts of the province. As of August 5, 2021, 583,000-plus hectares have burned in British Columbia. Similarly, the western United States, including California, Oregon and Washington, is following the pattern of soaring temperatures and wildfires. In a preliminary analysis by a team of international climate scientists, the extreme heat waves seen in this North American region were called “virtually impossible” without climate change. We pray that all affected by the fires will soon gain normalcy to their lives. With the sobering reality of global warming, may humanity now come together for actions that promote the cooling of our planet, especially the adoption of the sustainable and blessed vegan way of life, in God’s mercy.

Up next, new study advocates adding offshore wind energy capacity in Australia. We give thanks to cinematographers, the professionals who are responsible for the photographing or recording of a film or television production. When we return, more leading news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan: Stop the war in which the animals always lose.

Lovely viewers, how are you doing? I’m Alfie the vegan Chinchilla. It’s very easy to be a vegan today, delicious vegan food is everywhere! I promise, it’s that simple! Would you like a tip on how to quickly rename a set of files, like a series of photos, the same name on your computer? For a Windows PC, simply select all the desired files using your mouse and then hit F2. Type in the name you’d like, then press Enter. Windows will rename every file that same name and attach a (1), (2) and so on to the end of each file name to distinguish them. For a Mac with OS X, Yosemite, or higher, select the files you want to rename, then click the Action button in the Finder toolbar. Then, select Rename Items from the menu. Next, pick Format from the menu and customize what other options you’d like, such as at what number the renaming will begin from. Then select Rename. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching. Now for the weather from around the world.

Paper recommends development of wind energy in offshore Australia.

In a new report, the Australian government-funded Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre concludes that the development of offshore wind resources will provide “a range of benefits” for the country. Wind power could replace lost electricity generation after Australian coal plants shut down. Currently, Australia has over 10 offshore wind project proposals with a combined power output of over 25 gigawatts, which exceeds the capacity of all coal-fired power stations in Australia. Offshore wind farms could provide alternative employment for workers in the oil, gas, and coal industries. To support wind power use, the publication presents various recommendations, including the establishment of a regulatory system for offshore sustainable energy and the incorporation of offshore wind into national and state energy planning. Our earnest appreciation, Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre. May all countries swiftly transition to climate-friendly energy sources as we herald a sustainable world, in the brilliance of the Providence.

Turkey one of world’s top donors.

A recent report by Development Initiatives in the United Kingdom has revealed that in 2020, Turkey was the world’s top donor nation as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP), giving almost 1%. When measured by the total amount, the United States gave the most, at US$8.9 billion, with Turkey giving the second-highest sum at US$8 billion. Much of the Turkish aid was sent to Syria, as well as Yemen, Lebanon, South Sudan and others. Turkey also still hosts the most refugees of any nation in the world, with almost 4 million people seeking shelter in its land. Turkey is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance. Generous Turkey, our hearts are warmed with the news of your ongoing generosity, love and care to the people of the world in less fortunate situations. In the blessings of Allah, may peace soon envelop the Earth and all persons live in dignified harmony and love.

American professional wrestler honors late pig companion with charitable fundraising.

For popular World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler Alexa Bliss, losing her pig pal has been deeply saddening. Alexa adopted the piglet whom she named Larry-Steve, and came to adore her intelligent animal friend. Larry-Steve even had his own Instagram account with nearly 90,000 followers. On having a porcine buddy, she noted, “People don’t know that they’re actually super emotional and super smart.” Sadly, Larry-Steve died after a medical emergency. Ms. Bliss could not find a veterinarian to treat him, with some vets who declined citing his size as a reason. In Larry-Steve’s honor, the compassionate woman is raising funds to construct an insulated pig shelter at a pig rescue in Florida, USA, and also expanding awareness about the unmet veterinary needs of large animal companions. So sorry, Alexa Bliss, on your loss, and thank you for supporting rescued pigs. May Larry-Steve’s soul rest peacefully in Heaven’s eternal shelter.

Coming up, United Kingdom sushi franchise offers vegan salmon. We’ll pause to thank nature for the refreshing rain that waters our garden plants and purifies our air. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: let’s prove that we r smart. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Outstanding News for a Wondrous World.

Sushi chain adds plant-based salmon to menu.

Wasabi is a Japanese-inspired fast-food restaurant chain based in the United Kingdom, with around 60 locations, and operates in England and New York, United States. Wasabi recently announced the launch of Zalmon, a plant-based alternative to one of the restaurant’s most popular items. The delectable product is featured in their nigiri and uramaki rolls and joins its steadily growing vegan range. This includes a vegan Katsu and Maki Set, Cucumber or Avocado Hosomaki Set, gyozas, and more! Wasabi announced on social media, “It looks and tastes so much like salmon, even we can’t believe it’s not!” Such wonderful news, Wasabi, we cannot wait to get a taste! In Celestial light, may all restaurants soon take such intelligent actions to veganize their menus for a kinder and greener world.

Canine in China found on car surrounded by floodwaters rescued.

A dog who was stranded on top of a vehicle that was nearly swallowed up by floodwaters in Xinxiang, Henan Province, was luckily found by firefighters. One rescuer jumped into the water to carry the lovely canine to a paddleboard. Soon after, the sweet dog was reunited with his caregiver. We are so happy that the adorable dog is safe. Bravo, firefighting team! Many thanks for saving this precious life. We pray all across our world respect animal life and live in love and harmony with all beings, in Buddha’s upliftment.

Laughter is an instant vacation. Let’s take a short trip and laugh together with our joke of the day entitled, “Love Letter.”

“Do you wanna hear how Brian expressed his feelings for me in his letter? It’s so romantic! OK, here it goes: ‘Darling, I think of you all day, every day. Your naturally waved hair. Your blue eyes and symmetrical, dark eyebrows. Your slightly prominent cheekbones and your twenty-six inch waist. And of course your cute, little pug nose.’”

“Whoa, that’s a strange way to convey your love...”

“Oh, didn’t I tell you? Brian’s job is to write descriptions of people who are wanted by the law.”

And now we have a heartline from Sarnai from Mongolia:

Hallo, Dear Master, I am deeply moved and I want to share my innermost thoughts with You. Two years ago, when I was 6, I received initiation. That day, I saw Master for the first time. When Master touched my hand, I was so moved that I cried. I feel that I am very lucky because since I came to Taiwan (Formosa), I have been able to see Master many times, including eating a meal together with You. My mom always says that I’m the most beautiful and the cutest one. But I think our Master is the most beautiful and the loveliest person in the world. Thank You, Master, for always taking care of and protecting me. I can see Your immense Love every day through my mom and all the brothers and sisters. My mom always tells me that meditation is the most important thing. Just like I must finish the homework assigned by the teachers in school, meditation is the homework given to me by God. So, I always try my best to meditate, and to pray for the world and for my animal friends every day. What I wish the most is that Master has good health and happiness forever. Master, I wish You a long, happy life to witness the coming of the Vegan World. Love You! Sarnai from Mongolia

Adorable Sarnai, We are overjoyed to hear your amazing encounters with Supreme Master Ching Hai! Lucky are we, indeed, to be in the presence of a living Master whose Wisdom and Enlightenment liberate us from the endless cycle of transmigration.

Master has some words especially for you: “Super Sarnai, my thanks to you for practicing diligently, even at such a tender age, you already well-perceive the Truth. Please continue praying for World Vegan. Together we can manifest a planet full of love, benevolence and compassion for all beings. May the Buddhas bestow goodness and Blessings on you and the nature-loving Mongolians.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
