In today’s news, Kuwait compassionately assists displaced people in Yemen, Afghanistan sees reopening of 10 girls’ schools run by charitable foundation, France implements plastic packaging ban on fresh fruits and veggies, appointment of visually impaired High Court judge makes history in Zimbabwe, more British citizens interested in plant-based eating, and kitten-person saved from drain in Arizona, USA in collaborative rescue effort. All this and more, on Supreme Master Television, your constructive global network.

Kuwait provides assistance to highly vulnerable people in Yemen.

The Kuwaiti government’s Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) is contributing US$20 million to improve the humanitarian conditions of internally displaced people and their host communities in Yemen. As part of its commitment, most recently the KFAED signed an agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide a US$2 million grant. It is the fifth similar donation from KFAED to UNHCR and aims to improve living conditions for approximately 200,000 people currently dispersed over numerous camp-like settings in the Yemeni cities of Aden, Sanaa, Marib and Al-Hudaydah. It will also provide basic building materials for shelters and improve the infrastructure of the sites ranging from bettering water access and adding sewage services to installing solar-powered street lights. Our accolades, Kuwait and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, for your consistent and compassionate assistance to the most vulnerable in Yemen. May the situation in Yemen quickly improve with generous help like yours, in Allah’s loving Care. “Do not kill living beings, do not take what is not freely given, do not talk false, treacherous speech!” ~ Sutrakritanga Sutra (Jainism)

Up next, Afghanistan sees reopening of 10 girls’ schools run by charitable foundation. We now pause to thank the reggae musicians who entertain their audiences with this unique genre of music that started in Jamaica in the late 1960s. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more hopeful news.

Hi, happy friends, it’s Chie, a vegan lady from the Japanese Emperor Caterpillar kingdom! Cherishing all creation is the way towards a shared, harmonious future. And now it’s truly time to embrace compassion. I have a cleaning tip for you today. If there are allergy-sufferers in your household, certain types of vacuums are better than others at reducing allergens. A fine-particle HEPA filter vacuum with a bag is a great choice. Another good option is a bagless vacuum that contains a sealed cleaning station to avoid dust being released into the air when you empty it. Lastly, a robotic vacuum and mop system is a good choice as you can set it on a regular schedule to clean all types of flooring. You won’t have to be awake or present to keep allergens under control with such a device. Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.

Ten girls-only schools run by Turkey’s Maarif Foundation have reopened in Afghanistan.

In October 2021, the Turkish Foreign Minister, His Excellency Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, held talks to encourage the Taliban government towards implementing more inclusive policies and allowing more opportunities for women. Professor Birol Akgün, head of Turkey’s Maarif Foundation, dedicated to global education, said, “As a result of negotiations, the new Afghan administration is showing a more flexible approach to continuing education for female students.” Ten of the 14 Maarif Foundation’s girls-only schools are now open. Professor Akgün added that restrictions continue in secondary and high school sections of some girls-only schools, but significant progress is being made. Our sincere appreciation, Your Excellency Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Maarif Foundation, on your efforts to promote equal opportunities for Afghan women. We pray that Allah blesses the beautiful citizens of Turkey and Afghanistan with peace.

France introduces plastic ban for fresh produce.

A law banning plastic packaging for fresh fruits and vegetables came into effect in France at the start of 2022. Thirty types of widely sold fruits and vegetables, including cucumbers, peppers, bananas, and oranges, must now be sold without any plastic wrapping. Some produce, such as cherry tomatoes, raspberries and blueberries, will initially be excluded to allow time for alternative packaging to be found for these items, but by 2026, all varieties of fruits and vegetables will be required to be sold plastic-free. It is expected to strengthen the environment and ocean health by eliminating more than 1 billion items of single-use plastic packaging annually. Additionally, France has a law to phase out usage of all forms of single-use plastics by 2040. Bravo, France, for your leadership in sustainable packaging! May all lives become better with laws supporting eco-friendly lifestyles in harmony with Nature, in Divine shelter.

First-ever visually impaired person to serve as judge on Zimbabwe’s High Court.

The Honorable Justice Samuel Deme’s goal as a judge is to “actively contribute to the jurisprudence of the High Court and actively participate in the effective and efficient delivery of justice by the High Court.” The gifted lawyer lost his sight at the tender age of six after suffering an attack of measles. A bright student, he earned a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree and Master’s in Women’s Law from the University of Zimbabwe. He was deputy director of the government’s Legal Aid Directorate that provides free advice and representation to people who cannot afford lawyer’s fees from 2013 until his elevation to the High Court. Justice Deme hopes his appointment inspires young people and opens more doors for persons with disabilities. Congratulations, the Honorable Justice Samuel Deme, on your well-earned accomplishment. In God’s Love, may your tremendous resilience and determination serve as a model to us all. Our planet is on fire. Douse it with veganism.

Coming up, more British citizens interested in plant-based eating. We’ll step outside for a moment to take a short, refreshing walk around the lake with our dog-person companion. More positive news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Elevating News for a Lucky World.

Over a third of British residents interested in trying plant-based eating.

A recent survey for British non-profit Veganuary by UK-based global research and data firm YouGov has revealed that 34% of the nation’s residents are interested in, or planning to try, a plant-based diet. Other survey data also highlighted that 8% of British people are already vegan, representing a huge increase from two years ago, when the figure was estimated to be around 1 to 2%. The number of people trying the vegan diet for the month of January, as part of the Veganuary campaign, also continues to increase every year. Great news, UK residents, on your positive progress on embracing compassionate plant-based eating. In the light of the Divine, may your nation soon become fully vegan, as you set a shining example for all world citizens and fast-track the path forward towards a bright future.

Collaborative effort in United States rescues kitten-person from storm drain.

Emergency Animal Medical Technicians from the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) and the Phoenix Fire Department saved a 6-week old kitten-person who had been trapped for over a week. Reports from concerned residents of meowing coming from an underground pipe alerted the fire brigade of his plight. After two days of attempting to rescue the kitten-person, who kept running away from the rescuers, AHS used food to successfully entice him into a cage to be pulled up from underground. He is now getting medical attention needed to improve his weight and health before he will be fostered and then put up for adoption. Last year, AHS saved over 11,250 animal-people and found them loving homes. Many thanks for your generous and benevolent work, Arizona Humane Society and Phoenix Fire Department, that has saved yet another precious animal-person’s life. May God abundantly bless you and all who rescue innocent animal-people in need.

Now it’s time to enjoy some laughter nourishment with a joke we have called “Guess Why.”

Little Billy and little Julie were talking on the playground:

“I bet you don’t know why a giraffe-person’s neck is so long!”

“Yes, I do!”

“OK. Tell me why then.”

“Because their head is so high up!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Hòa Trinh in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Master, Recently, on Supreme Master Television, Master talked about the abortion law in the United States. I felt Your pain, and the pain of the parents, regarding abortion. I ask Your permission to let me share about my own pregnancy a year ago.

For the most part of my pregnancy, everything was very favorable. But in the last stage, the doctor informed me that there was something wrong with my baby. The unborn child had congenital hydrocephalus. The doctor advised us to abort the fetus because the child might die after being born, and if he lived, he would not be like other normal children. It was so painful hearing the news.

Each day, in our meditation, we sincerely prayed to Master, to God Almighty, to take care of the baby, so he could have a chance to live. A few days later, I went to visit the biggest hospital in the Southern Region of Âu Lạc (Vietnam). There, the doctor told us that the baby could be born and treated. But he also said to be mentally prepared that the child would be slow in action, not like a normal child. Hearing the doctor say that, I was extremely happy, because my baby had a chance to live.

In my heart, I always trust Master, trust God’s arrangement, so later, my baby was born safely. At the present time, he is eight months old, and he has already gone through two endoscopic brain surgeries. The baby still has to be monitored, but I believe that due to God’s Love and care, after some more time, my baby will quickly become a healthy and active boy.

God gave me this life so that I could be a mom, so I have to find all possible ways to keep him. I have to be strong to change my fate. Through my story, I hope that other parents, no matter the reason, please give the innocent babies a chance to live, to be human, because they will be the future, the bright hope to make the world a better place.

I pray to God to bless the United States to quickly abolish the abortion law, so that the babies can live in peace, love and prosperity. I wish Master good health, and may the power of the Original Universe protect You. I wish the Supreme Master Television team to have an abundance of health, and help Master fulfill Her mission of saving the Earth. May “World Vegan, World Peace” manifest soon. Hòa Trinh from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Sincere Hòa Trinh, Thank you for sharing your inspiring story with us.

Master has a heartfelt reply for you: “Faithful Hòa Trinh, I wish everyone had your understanding. When a woman is pregnant with a child, it is a result of the universal arrangement. She does not have the right to take that life away for any reason without creating bad karma for herself as well as the aborted child. All children come to this planet to fulfill some purpose according to their karma, and all mothers are birthing babies for similar reasons. Taking life away is not only blocking this universal arrangement but also takes away future opportunities for learning, delays spiritual progress, and in the case of the mother, generates killing karma of the worst kind that will cause major spiritual regression and will lead to hell. Your life is a demonstration of the power of faith in the Divine. May the Buddhas surround you, your child and awakened Âu Lạc (Vietnam) with Heavenly Grace.”

Vegan: tested positive 4 peace-loving.
