In Shining World Compassion Award News from Singapore…
When a group of compassionate individuals came together with a purpose in mind – to help the migrant workers of Singapore, Project Postcard was born. All 15 members of the group are alumni from the Singapore School of Arts. As an expression of solidarity, Project Postcard has printed 13 distinct postcards featuring individual artworks that depict migrant workers. Proceeds from the sale of the postcards are given to the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME)which provides ongoing support to the migrant workers in many ways, including with daily necessities, emergency medical aid, psychological support, and legal costs.
“What I found was most important was to give back to society. I think it doesn’t have to always be a very big project or a very big idea, I think anybody can do it. I think it’s just about starting small. Look at the immediate communities, your immediate surroundings, people who need help, people who are struggling, and think about what you have, what are your strengths, what are your talents and how you can use that to empower and to strengthen a different community. It’s just about helping wherever you can, whenever you can. It sows seeds of kindness in other people.”
Touched by their caring endeavor, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present Project Postcard the Shining World Compassion Award, along with a US$10,000 loving contribution for your noble work, and special thanks to the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics, with high respect, gratitude and praises, in Heaven’s immense love.”
Our Association members in Singapore were honored to present the Award letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial gift as well as Her publications and DVDs to Project Postcard.
“In less than two months, 15,000 postcards were sold, and the proceeds of more than $15,000 contributed to the Singaporean Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics. In addition, the endeavor also distributed and paid for the mailing of 10,000 postcards for workers to write to family or friends in their home countries. Commenting on the effort, Project Postcard’s creative lead Kimberly Wee said, ‘We wanted to show them that we don’t just appreciate them because they helped to build our country or because they have suffered, but because they are a part of our community.’”
Upon receiving the Award letter, crystalline plaque and check, Russell had a heartfelt message to share with Supreme Master Ching Hai. “I just want to say a huge thank You, thank You for Your generosity, for Your kindness and for spreading this love and all this kindness into the world. I think You’re touching millions of hearts, and You are really inspiring people like me that even something so small can really continue to impact and make a big difference in someone else’s life, so thank You for doing that for me.”
Congratulations, Project Postcard. Thank you for spreading neighborly love and happiness in our world. May Heaven bless your team and all the families whose lives you have touched. For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to Project Postcard, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date.
COVID-19 associated with worse pregnancy outcomes around the world.
Researchers from St. George’s University Hospitals in the United Kingdom have determined that stillbirths and maternal deaths increased by about one-third globally during the pandemic. A meta-analysis was conducted of 40 studies involving six million pregnancies over a year in 17 countries including Botswana, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, India, Israel, Mexico, Nepal, the United Kingdom and the United States. The main driver of these tragic outcomes, which mainly affected low- and middle-income countries, was likely the burdened healthcare systems’ inability to cope with the pandemic. We express our deep sorrow for the affected families and pray for the safety of newborns and their mothers. May humanity also stop the root cause of the pandemic by embracing the compassionate vegan lifestyle, in Divine love.
Up next on Noteworthy News, Turkey recognized for zero waste project. We’ll just take a little time to thank the animal care attendants, who make sure that the furry companions boarding at hospitals or pet hotels are fed, exercised, and contented around-the-clock. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more friendly news.
Hallo, vibrant viewers, it’s Prem the vegan Bali Bird of Paradise! The vegan journey of a thousand miles begins with a single plant-based meal. What are you waiting for? I’d like to share a car maintenance tip with you. To prevent air from leaking out of your tires, make sure you leave the caps on all of your tire valves. A missing cap could lead to a flat tire overnight and cause dirt and water to get inside the tire. Also, if you are getting a new set of tires, be sure to kindly remind the shop to replace the valves as well. Thank you and love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. And thanks for tuning in. Now, the weather around the world!
Turkey lauded for sustainability efforts.
The United Nations Development Programme has awarded its first ever Global Goals Action Award to Turkey. The recognition was given for the country’s zero waste project which has added an estimated US$2.3 billion to the country’s economy, including from savings for material that is normally discarded. Turkey’s zero waste project is led by First Lady Her Excellency Emine Erdoğan, who initiated the nationwide campaign in 2017 with the goal of reducing the volume of non-recyclable waste. The project has since saved enormous amounts of energy, water, oil and trees, while also preventing two billion tons of greenhouse gases. Turkey is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance. Our heartfelt congratulations and thanks, Turkey and First Lady Emine Erdoğan. May your resource-saving example radiate around the world as we also pray for a vegan world, in Allah’s infinite grace.
Intuition linked to bacterial diversity in the intestines.
Researchers from the University of California San Diego in the United States have found evidence that humans have a “gut feeling,” or connections between the intestines and the brain. In their study, 184 adults between the ages of 28 and 97 self-reported on aspects such as social involvement and feelings of compassion, support and loneliness. People who reported higher levels of intuition, compassion and social support, showed higher bacterial diversity. It was also found that loneliness was related to lower levels of intestinal microbes. Thus, the richness of the microbes was representative of one’s mental and physical health. Such fascinating news, researchers, on the link between our microbial friends and our wellbeing. In Heaven’s support, may good health and blessings come to everyone, along with love among one another.
UN News highlights Afghan women deminers.
As part of its observance of International Mine Awareness Day, the United Nations' news agency, UN News, has praised “the bravery and hard work of deminers.” In particular, the UN published an article about a team of 19 women who has removed explosives from more than 27 million square meters of contaminated land in Afghanistan. This accomplishment made Bamyan province to be declared the country’s first mine-free province since 2019. Team member Fezeh Rezaye, a university graduate and young mother of two, even put aside her dream to be a teacher and took up the dangerous demining work for the sake of her children, after mines took the lives of seven kids in her village. Thank you, United Nations, for advancing a mine-free world. Bravo to all the courageous deminers of Afghanistan and other countries. In the Divine’s ennobling light, may every child soon walk in total, carefree peace on this Earth.

Parrot celebrates 72nd birthday at parrot sanctuary.
Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary, located in Del Mar, California, USA, takes in unwanted parrots while also encouraging the public’s concern for exotic birds and the deep human-animal connection. Founded as a non-profit in 2009, the sanctuary also operates as a boarding and daycare facility, finds forever homes for some, and holds programs for children, teenagers and the elderly, among other initiatives. The oldest resident, Obi the umbrella cockatoo, recently turned 72, which is significantly more than the average lifespan. Caregivers shared, “[Obi] enjoys spending his days basking in the sunshine, flirting with all the female cockatoos, and eating his favorite snacks (sweet potatoes, walnuts, and cherries).” We are so happy for these lucky birds! Bless you, Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary, for creating a wonderful space for them. May God protect all the loving feathered angels on this planet.
Forget the weight of the world and join us for a laugh with the joke of the day entitled, “A Get-together.”
“Dad, there is a small get-together at school tomorrow. You should come!”
“Small get-together? How small?”
“You, the principal, and me.”
And now we have a heartline from John Green in the United States:
Prior to the US presidential election last November, I was very upset by the idea that President Trump might win and remain in office for another four years. Oddly, he started appearing in my dreams – usually as my employer, sometimes as my mentor but always someone who was kind, loving and wise. This made no sense to me when I was awake and did not stop me from voting for his opponent. When Master started asking us to pray for President Trump, I could not. I simply prayed for God’s will to be done. But as it became clear that Master was seriously concerned about the outcome of the election, I started praying to God Almighty, “Please help me to see a bigger picture.” I think this prayer was heard because I have completely changed my attitude toward President Trump. I still cannot see what Master sees, but I’m sure that President Trump’s soul came here on a special and difficult mission. I’m sorry that Master had to suffer for being President Trump’s advocate. God knows there was already enough on Her plate without getting involved in American politics. But it seems She cannot avoid coming to the rescue of those who are genuine, righteous and beneficial to the world. I have no more words except, “Thank You from the bottom of my heart, Master.” John Green from the United States
Authentic John Green, We are grateful that you have shared your struggles and how by looking inside, you were able to find a clearer picture of the truth. This is an example many will relate to and can learn from. We pray that in God’s Grace, you and the generous American people know eternal peace and harmony. In nurturing Celestial light, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. We delight in letting you know that Master says: “Strong John Green, God will always hear our sincere prayer. The illusory nature of this world means that only with the Wisdom Eye can we see through the mist and perceive reality. Please be more diligent in your spiritual practice, so more true knowledge will be revealed to you from within. Then your real divine strength and wisdom can be of significant good help to the world. In this shadow realm, things are mostly obscured and difficult for humans to discern what is good and what is not. Be humble and pray always for Blessing and Guidance from Higher Celestial Power, while walking on this rough domain. Wishing you special Luck. With much Love I pray you and your warmhearted American co-citizens may always receive Heaven’s blessings and know a blissful and fulfilling life.”
