In today’s news, entrepreneurs in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, support quake victims in China, rising temperatures in UK mean they could soon start growing Mediterranean trees, solar technology breakthrough provides new energy storage solutions in Australia, European Union extends visa-free travel policy to Kosovo, gentleman in United States works to end bullying in schools and improve the lives of bullied victims, Indian vegan bag manufacturer considers all co-inhabitants, and United States woman rescues dog-people with disabilities.
Here is a helpful tip for those of you with canine-buddies of your own. Frigid temperatures during winter months will affect your dog-companion based on their size and the thickness of their outer coat. Large dog-people will be able to tolerate the cold better than small or furless breeds. Thinner breeds can get colder faster, but they are still able to stay warm with a winter dog-person coat. You can also consider canine booties. Thin-haired small or medium-sized dog-people could be at risk of hypothermia if they go outside when the temperature is 7°C or less. In general, if the temperature reaches below -6°C, no dog-person should be out for a walk, regardless of their size or breed. Be sure to observe your furry friend’s behavior when out in the cold. If you notice they are struggling during a cold weather walk, it is too cold for them. They may slow down, stop, shiver, or bark and whine if they are experiencing any kind of discomfort. Keep your dog-friends safe and warm this winter!
Let’s grab the joke of the day by the hand and walk together towards a fun moment. This one’s entitled “Meaningful Lunar New Year’s Gift.”
An old lady came into a gift shop and asked the saleswoman:
“Hi, I'm looking for a Lunar New Year present for my son!”
“Sure, ma’am, I can give you some advice. What does he like?”
“My son is 1.8 meters tall, handsome, healthy, vegan, and single. Because he owns his own business, he’s tremendously rich and already has everything… so I don't know what to get him!”
“Ma’am, how about me? You make me his fiancée.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Ningrum in Malang, Indonesia:
Dear Beloved Master, I would like to send my deep gratitude to You for letting us be part of the Supreme Master TV team. I often found out that all the work the team shared or assigned gave me a lot of self-learning and truly Your Blessing for my spiritual path.
Sometimes, I worked all day and night, but surprisingly, I didn’t feel tired, and felt happy and just delighted. Whenever I am assigned a task, such as writing a draft script, I often find that the content of the topic is really related or mirrors the conditions surrounding me. It helps me find answers and solve questions and problems, and I found a lot of teachings and reminders directly from You, Master.
I also noticed that some time ago, Supreme Master TV reported about Indonesia. Our colleague at that time was a presenter from Malang. Some days later, there was the Mt. Semeru eruption and flood, but the disaster area quickly recovered from the impact. At that time, we reminded each other to meditate more among the initiates. Our center also rushed and sent a relief team to the disaster site, provided donations and shared vegan books so people are aware. We coordinated with local relief as well and shared light vegan meals.
We really feel, Master, that You poured out Your Blessings to help the area, so that the disaster was lessened, also through news or broadcast programs about our country on Supreme Master TV. Thank You so much for all Your boundless help, helping the world, guiding us, and Your visible and invisible teachings to all of us. Ningrum from Malang, Indonesia
Dedicated Ningrum, Thank you for sharing these sentiments as we too are so greatly blessed to be able to assist Master in any way we can.
Master has this happy reply for you: “Clear-sighted Ningrum, your positive energy and spirit are wonderful. Without initiates like yourself, there would be no Supreme Master Television, nor could we send disaster relief teams to ease the suffering in this world. I lovingly appreciate all you do and may you and shining Indonesia be nurtured in Heavenly Grace. Love you all in the Name of God!”
