In Shining World Compassion Award News from New South Wales, Australia…
Catherine Kelaher is the founder of New South Wales Hen Rescue, which saves, rehabilitates and rehomes sick, injured, abused and abandoned animal-people. Many of the residents in the haven that has been lovingly created are bird-people. Here, they receive the finest care and an abundance of love. This includes quality veterinary care, spacious quarters for spreading their wings, and the enjoyment of happy and safe lives.
“When you watch them take those first steps, it’s truly magical. I remember one girl, Gretel, and she’s with us now still, and she had a broken wing from her time in the cage. She was from a farm where I think they must have had very low calcium from all their egg laying, and so they had suffered a lot of fractures, so of course got her the vet care and pain relief she needed. But I still remember, despite her broken wing, the first steps she took outside, it was like she was walking on the moon. She did these giant slow steps, almost like, what is this soft ground stuff? And then she started pecking and scratching at the dirt, and her curiosity and her personality started to show already, even though people had been awful to her, her whole life.”
To bolster this lifesaving mission, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present Catherine Kelaher and the New South Wales Hen Rescue with the Shining World Compassion Award, plus a humble contribution of US$10,000 in cheerful support of your loving efforts, with gratitude and well wishes. May Heavens always guide your noble work and protect you, your team, and the precious animal people.”
Ms. Kelaher happily received the Award letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial contribution, as well as Her publications and DVDs.
“As an author, vegan activist, and heroine in the hearts and eyes of countless souls from the animal-people kingdom, particularly the hen-persons, since 2010 (after starting the rescue), you’ve championed their cause, trying to release them from battery cages. Hen Rescue’s actions not only save lives but also bring attention to the dire living conditions and exploitation the chicken-people are subjected to for their flesh or eggs destined for human consumption. After visiting a petting zoo as a young child, you made the connection between the dinner plate and all life. Since then, it has been a never-ending battle of love versus ignorance as you strive to uplift the public.”
“Supreme Master Ching Hai, I want to thank You from the bottom of my heart. This donation and award will make such a difference to the girls and boys who call the hen haven home. I need You to know how grateful I am, and the whole volunteer team of New South Wales Hen Rescue, that You not only saw the work and appreciated it, but You have taken action so that we can save many, many more girls. I’ve been aware of Your compassion at work for years, ever since I was first vegan and eating at Loving Hut. And to have someone like You acknowledge my work, I think it just fires me up even more, to make change, to work towards a vegan world.”
Our cheerful congratulations, Catherine Kelaher. May you and the New South Wales Hen Rescue team always be blessed, for your loving work of saving the lives of precious animal-people, and caring for them in the way that they deserve. May everyone treasure all beings and help to create Heaven on Earth for God’s cherished creations.

NASA discloses images of stars being born in Orion Nebula.
The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), recently released pictures of a large formation, 1,350 light years away, within the Orion Nebula, where stars are being born. The photos, captured by an international team, were taken with the James Webb Space Telescope, described as the most powerful such instrument in the world. They show a large, ridge-like cloud that is comprised of gas and dust. Within the formation are extremely large stars, about 33 times the size of our Sun, that are creating extremely powerful winds, which are pushing the cloud and compressing it. In this way, new celestial bodies are being formed. Thank you, NASA, for sharing more magnificent images of our universe. In God’s elevating Light, may humanity feel humbled by the greatness that surrounds us, as we look within ourselves. Vegan: do it 4 the world.

Good day, elated viewers, I’m Colin, a vegan fella from the Capercaillie kingdom. Do you like my colorful plumage? Through entertaining dances, I use feather-language to silently transmit my deepest desires of peace, love and serenity to all the members of our community. I hope you too have peace and love in your life. I have a helpful tip on how to decode your feline friend’s body language. If they are rolling back and forth on the floor, this means they are either inviting you to play or giving in to you. If they are raising their back in your face, they are giving you a warm “hello.” When your cat-person companion is holding their tail up as they walk around their territory, that indicates they are content, confident, and willing to be cordial with other people in their space. Even a small twitch of the tip of their tail can signify they are happy. If you notice any of these signs, play with your feline companion since they’re in a good mood, and as a result, you’ll be in an even better mood! Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for tuning in, and now for the weather around the globe.
Women in Sierra Leone succeed in transforming their lives through rice farming.
Sixty percent of Sierra Leonean citizens have jobs in the agriculture field, and a group of women have thrived by cultivating rice in previously unusable swamplands. These strong ladies, some of whom are widows and single mothers, began by forming a small farm collective called the Matagelema Association in 2020, and have since received training from the World Food Programme and government support, to continue in expanding their business. By moving farms from uplands to inland swamps, these women are also improving carbon deficits and lowering greenhouse emissions to mitigate climate change. How wonderful and thank you for your noble idea of transforming previously thought unusable regions into purposeful farmlands, Matagelema Association. We pray for your continued success in bringing better lives for yourselves and others around you, in Allah’s immense Love.
Researchers develop modeling tool to ensure clean drinking water at refugee communities.
People displaced due to war or disasters are often without potable water, which may give rise to waterborne diseases, one of the major causes of infectious illnesses. To help maintain a safe level of drinking water, scientists, led by the University of York in Canada, have developed a way to do that, using machine learning. Although it is necessary that there is sufficient chlorine in the water to keep it free from pathogens, a variety of factors affecting previously safe drinking water can occur during its collection, transport and storage. The team has developed a model to predict the probability that enough chlorine to disinfect the water will remain until it is all used. The scientists then applied machine learning, using a range of field data, to improve accuracy and reliability. Awesome work, all researchers involved. In the grace of the Providence, we pray that every being on the planet can have access to clean and safe water.
Indian woman spends life reforesting land and receives government honor.
Passionate Indian environmentalist, Tulsi Gowind Gowda, has spent most of her 80-plus years converting barren land into lush forests, in her home state of Karnataka in southwestern India. For her dedication, she received one of the nation’s highest civilian honors, the Padma Shri Award. As a child, she would speak to the trees as if she were their mother, and her indigenous group, the Halakki-Vokkaligas, have a deep understanding of how to cure diseases with medicinal plants. Ms. Gowda has also worked in a government nursery for 65 years and although officially retired, the tree expert continues to share her invaluable knowledge. May Heaven bless you, Tulsi Gowind Gowda, for your life’s dedication to restoring the forests of India. In the blessings of the Divine, may your example inspire many others, as we care for our planet. “It’s OK, continue 2 make war: cos the world’s people will hate not just only u, but they also will hate all ur family, ur relatives, ur friends n all ur co-citizens in ur nation. So, u have company. Good 4 u.”

Austrian supermarket chain opens vegan concept store.
BILLA, a leading European supermarket with about 1,200 outlets in Austria, has opened a 200-square meter vegan superstore called “BILLA PFLANZILLA” in the nation’s capital Vienna, offering 2,500-plus items. These comprise of a range of vegan meats, sausages and dairy products, baked goods, snacks, beverages, confectionaries, and frozen goods, as well as basic pantry products and vegan cookbooks. Furthermore, to minimize waste, customers can fill their own containers with unpackaged food. Marcel Haraszti, Billa’s Chairman, commented, “…we are meeting an important need with this new concept and at the same time making a contribution to more conscious, sustainable consumption.” A recent survey commissioned by Billa found that 46% of Austrians have decreased their intake of animal-people foodstuff and 28% of 18- to 29-year-olds have stopped eating meat completely. Congratulations, BILLA! In Celestial jubilation, may all supermarkets follow suit and provide only planet-protecting vegan food and products.
Rescuers save deaf dog-person after fall into a ravine in California, USA.
Hobo, an 8-year-old deaf Australian Shepherd, was out on a walk with his caregiver Julia Plant in Sorrento, California, when he curiously dashed towards something that caught his eye. As he turned to come back, he lost his footing and fell backward 30-plus meters down a steep hill. Ms. Plant, realizing she needed help in rescuing Hobo, called the San Diego Humane Society. Five members of the emergency response team from the Society were required to reach Hobo, to free him from the brush before securing him for the steep climb back up. After a four-hour operation, Hobo was rescued and thankfully uninjured. Ms. Plant expressed her gratitude, saying, “It was a miracle... thank God for the Humane Society.” Bravo, San Diego Humane Society rescuers, for your noble efforts. May Heaven continue to protect precious Hobo so he may live a long and happy life with his beloved family.
This joke of the day is ready to tickle your funny bone. It’s called “Hometown Memories.”
A recently licensed chiropractor moved back to his hometown and soon had a thriving practice. One morning, he saw a new patient whom he recognized as his old high school principal.
“I’m a little surprised to see you here.”
“Why? You certainly spent a great deal of time in my office.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Giosuè in Italy:
Dear Master and Supreme Master TV team, I’d like to share an experience with you, which happened with our family member, the cat-person Michi, who left this planet some time ago. He could go in and out of the house as he wanted, and at some point we didn’t see him for several days. We were getting worried that something had happened to him. That day, I needed wood from the wood pile I had in the garden, so I went in that direction. Half way there, he suddenly stood in the middle of the way, and meow-meowed a lot. The message somehow was: “Stop! Don’t go further.” But I needed the wood, so I didn’t stop. He immediately ran to the wood pile, jumped on top and he was lying down there, covering as much wood as possible so I couldn’t take it away. I was aware he knew the garden better than me, so I started to have a closer look and discovered some snake-people in the wood pile. So I grabbed Michi and went away with him.
I still feel touched writing these lines, as he had risked his life just to protect me. In loving memory of this wonderful being, Giosuè from Italy
Appreciative Giosuè, Thanks for sharing your amazing story about the selflessness of your cat-person companion. It never ceases to amaze us how loving and kind the animal-people are to their human friends and how willing they are to give up their lives for them. If only humans followed their example, the world would be a Paradise of Love. May you and the warmhearted Italian people forever be held in God’s loving embrace, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has some wise words to share: “Grateful Giosuè, I am also quite touched, though I know that the animal-folk living angels for humans. This is especially so with our animal-people companions who are assigned to us by Heaven’s arrangement. They care for us in ways that most of us never realize. It is good that you are aware of this and allowed your cat-person’s noble example to touch your heart. Heaven utilizes the qualities of unconditional love and selflessness that animal-persons embody to teach humanity, yet, instead of listening, most humans continue to eat them. Given how demonic this is, this is why Heaven wants to destroy us. I pray that all awaken now and treat animal-individuals with the respect they deserve. May you and delightful Italy be a reflection of the Light of Heaven.”
“It is sad and shocking that a violent man, the deadly hunter, kills creatures of blood and flesh for whom he cannot give life. They hunt for pleasure, sport, or food.” ~ Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji (vegetarian)
