When I’m not studying hard at school, I love to garden, connect with the earth and relax. I particularly love to compost and recycle, as it reduces waste and enriches my garden’s soil. I'd like to share the following tip with you. Biodegradable plastics like cups and serving ware are not appropriate for a home composting system. These items should be placed into bins that are marked for commercial or industrial recycling only. A great way to make sure that a plastic item is ‘compostable’ is to look for the BPI certified logo on it. An item clearly marked with the word “compostable” will also suffice.
Let’s savor some laughter nectar as the joke of the day is about to appear. This one’s entitled “Thinking Ahead.”
A child going to school for the first time looks very nervous. So, his dad asks him:
“What's the matter, Son?”
“How long do I have to go to school for?”
“Until you're 18.”
The kid nods and thinks about this to himself. Then responds:
“But Dad, will you remember to come and get me when I'm 18?”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Tuyết Lan in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:
Dear Most Compassionate Master, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Master and the Supreme Master Television team. I would like to thank Master for allowing my little family to get initiated. When I was a would-be initiate, You already took very good care of my grandma’s family, which I would never think of. I am so fortunate and proud to be Your disciple.
I would like to tell You a happy story. Whenever the students are sleepy or the class becomes tense, I always tell the students the jokes that You once told, or the jokes on Supreme Master Television. The students love it and laugh heartily. If the joke is really good, they even slapped their thigh, and turned to shake hands with the one sitting next to them. Some smart students could understand the joke immediately; other ones were stupefied and didn’t understand. Some enjoyed the joke so much that they just kept smiling during the class time. Sometimes, the other classes were envious, asking why I told jokes to that class but not this one. Then I had to tell this class those jokes, and they always asked for more. Each time I told jokes, they just put their pen down, lifted up their face and listened – it was so cute.
I would like to thank Master and the initiated brothers and sisters of the Supreme Master Television team, for giving me cheery moments with my dear students because of those jokes. I wish I could see You face-to-face at least once. I love You very much, Master. I wish Master to always be beautiful, peaceful, and healthy, so that You can fulfill Your noble mission on Earth very soon. I wish the Supreme Master Television team to be blessed by God always and to continue broadcasting many more interesting stories so that I can share them with my beloved students. Tuyết Lan from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)
Jocular Tuyết Lan, How lucky the students are to have such a jovial friend who is blessed to be an initiate of Master. Thank you for your story.
Master applauds your sense of fun: “Sweet Tuyết Lan, it is wonderful to be young, carefree, and childlike. Such lightness and laughter bring us ever closer to Heavens. Well done for sharing your joyous spirit with others. I send you and your family much Love and also pray that we may have the opportunity to be together in future times. May you and the radiant Aulacese (Vietnamese) people always be blessed with Divine Wisdom and Compassion.”
