In today’s news, refugees in Uganda receive 10,000 solar home systems from solar company, Europe-launched satellite world’s first that can analyze rainfall speeds, mobile airdrop hospital trialed in India, another camp for Russian soldiers opens in Ukraine (Ureign), Canadian farmer shares millions of surplus potatoes with people in need, Peruvian vegan startup receives funding for Latin American expansion, and wildlife officials in Colorado, United States, save two young mountain lion-people from drowning.
Sustainable lifestyle practices in and around the house are not only smart – they’re fun! I would like to share a tip on how to grow your own chamomile plants. You will need a small gardening tray or pot filled with compost. Water the compost and then generously sprinkle chamomile tea from a tea bag over the top of it. The tea is composed of dried chamomile flowers that contain ripe seed heads. Next, add another layer of compost and set your seeded plants in an area with sunlight in your home, making sure to water the plants regularly. After several weeks, you should have small chamomile plants and will then be able to transplant them to your garden. By growing chamomile in your backyard, you can save money while having a positive impact on the environment since it reduces the demand for store-bought, mass-produced teas that must travel far to make it into stores.
Are you ready for some hilarity? Well, the joke of the day has just entered the studio. This one’s called “Pause for Applause.”
After his kids bragged about what levels they’d attained in an adventure video game, their father, Keith, decided to give it a try. Soon, it was his turn to boast that, in spite of being a newbie, he had already managed to get to level 11.
“Look, Sons, I can easily reach level 11 in no time.”
“Level 11? That means you have the game on pause, Dad!”
