In today’s news, Germany assists Palestine refugees in Jordan and Lebanon, research finds working from home helps environment, study reveals Arctic Ocean able to absorb more CO2, China introduces improved electric train, United States veteran raises funds for assistance canine charity, supermarket chain unveils range of vegan and vegetarian meats in Netherlands, and acclaimed photographers raise funds for wildlife.

Germany supports health of Palestinian refugees.

Germany, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate, donated €15 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to enable the continuation of health and education services for Palestinian refugees residing in Jordan and Lebanon. This contribution will help improve the resilience of the refugee community in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and other social and economic challenges. In 2019, Germany gave over €152 million to UNRWA, which makes the country the largest donor to the organization that year. Our gratitude, Germany, for your compassion and generosity, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, for your consistent support for the most vulnerable. May all refugees find a peaceful and abundant future as global citizens embrace a world of kindness to all, in Heaven’s mercy

British study finds remote working helps reduce CO2 levels.

Research released by the United Kingdom-based telecommunication network provider O2 revealed that working from home two days a week, for those that are able to, could reduce the country’s annual carbon dioxide emissions from travel by 14.3 megatons, which is estimated to exceed the total emissions for Northern Ireland. The report also showed that 46% of UK workers are concerned about their commuting impact on the environment, with 77% believing it is essential for organizations to be environmentally conscious. In view of the fact working situations have changed due to COVID-19, 30% of employees wanted work flexibly to lower their cost of commuting; 23% wanted it to save time and 17% found commuting stressful. Thank you for the very interesting study, O2. In the benevolence of the Providence, may more people commit to protecting our precious Earth as we transition into a vegan era of sustainability.

Up next, study finds Arctic Ocean able to absorb more CO2. We’ll just take a little time to thank CCTV (closed circuit television) operators, who manage surveillance devices to monitor the public’s safety. Please stay for more meaningful news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, compassionate friends! I’m Laurie the vegan Grey Bamboo Lemur. How could you become a more powerful human being? By lifting others up, instead of putting them down. Be vegan! Here is a little tip for you. If you cannot fall asleep due to noisy surroundings, a sleeping mask and earplugs are two effective tools that could help you get some rest. They also come in handy when you want to take a nap during a flight. Thank you for your attention and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.

Increase in the Arctic Ocean’s algae enhances its ability to absorb carbon dioxide.

Researchers from Stanford University in the United States have revealed that the amount of phytoplankton growing in the Arctic Ocean increased by 57% between 1998 and 2018. The additional algae has enabled the Arctic Ocean, which is in a region warming faster than anywhere on the Earth, to absorb a much larger amount of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as new nutrients are supplied to the algae from the ocean. Dr. Kevin Arrigo, professor of Earth System Science at Stanford and senior author of the study, called the change a “significant regime shift.” Thank you, Dr. Kevin Arrigo and Stanford University scientists, for highlighting the remarkable beneficial actions of Arctic Ocean algae. May we increase our environmental stewardship and assist our cherished planet in restoring the climate to a healthy state, supporting all life, in God’s peace and unity.

China accomplishes major advancement in electric trains.

China, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Wildlife-Protection, Wise Governance and Compassionate Protection laureate, has built a 28.8-megawatt train that has been described as being greener, more powerful, safer and smarter than earlier models. It can pull 10,000 metric tons on a slope of 1.2%, and is capable of traveling up to 120 kilometers per hour. The train was produced by China-based electric locomotive manufacturers CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and will operate on the Shenmu-Shuozhou Railway in the provinces of Shaanxi and Shanxi. What an outstanding achievement, China and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive, to help serve your citizens and the world by transporting goods in an eco-friendly manner. In the light of Heaven, may the gentle people of your nation be blessed with good fortune and a flourishing land.

Veteran cycles across North Dakota, United States, to help provide assistance dogs to other veterans.

US defense forces veteran Andrew Nathan has cycled across the state of North Dakota to raise money for Patriot Assistant Dogs (PAD), a non-profit that provides emotional support dogs to veterans. The 608-kilometer, three-day journey raised almost US$30,000, which will go to PAD to aid in funding the training and care of certified psychiatric dogs, 88% of them being rescues. Mr. Nathan has seen firsthand the very positive effect a trained service dog has had on his fellow veteran friend. Speaking of his motivation, Mr. Nathan explained, “I want to serve something bigger than myself.” Bighearted Andrew Nathan, we applaud your noble ideals to support the well-being of your fellow citizens. May your efforts have ongoing uplifting results as the loyal canines bring unconditional companionship and healing, in the love and comfort of the Divine.

Up next on Noteworthy News, supermarket chain unveils vegan and vegetarian range in the Netherlands. We’ll spend a moment to step outside and listen to the pleasant sounds of nature. We’ll return with more rewarding news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Refreshing News for a Regenerated World.

Major Dutch supermarket chain launches own vegan and vegetarian brand.

Dutch retailer Jumbo, which has approximately 600 stores in the Netherlands and a leading online presence, has released the Lekker Veggie range that consists of 42 veg items. These include vegan burgers, mince, falafels, schnitzels, veggie balls and more, which were created to help meet the strong and growing demand for meat-free alternatives. The new range recipes contain less sugar and salt, as the chain looks to reduce its total use of sugar and salt from its own brand items, while maintaining tastiness. Thank you, Jumbo, for your move into plant-based offerings. In Heaven’s caring radiance, may veganism continue to grow, as the intelligent Dutch people choose the healthy, compassionate, lives-saving way.

Acclaimed photographers raise funds for wildlife.

To compensate for the drop in funding through tourism and philanthropy for African conservation efforts due to COVID-19, photographers Marion Payr from Austria and Pie Aerts from the Netherlands initiated the “Prints for Wildlife” campaign. Each of the more than 60 wildlife photographers participating in the fundraiser donated one limited fine art print, which went on sale for US$100 each. The month-long project raised more than US$660,000, with 100% of the proceeds after shipping and handling to be given to the conservation organization African Parks. The non-profit collaborates with local governments in 11 African nations to protect biodiversity in 18 parks, and supports local communities through a broad range of endeavors. A big round of applause, and Heaven’s blessings, Marion Payr, Pie Aerts, and all “Prints for Wildlife” participants. May your action encourage more dedication to safeguard all animals, in God’s abiding grace.

A friend told us this joke and we want to share it with you. It’s entitled “Keeping Silence.” If you don't find it funny, then just forget it.

A master asked her four disciples to keep silence for a few days so that they can experience inner peace. One evening on the beach, the four disciples were sitting and watching the sunset. A man came and asked them the time...

“...Sorry, I can’t answer you, I’m keeping silence.”

“Hey, you have broken your silence!! You just talked!”

“I’m going to tell the master that you two have talked.”

“Haha, I’m the only one who has kept good silence!!”

And now we have a heartline from Santino in Mexico:
