In today’s news, Japan supports displaced people in Niger, United Kingdom scientists uncover signs of life on Venus, researchers develop brightest known material, Indigenous Amazonians utilize drones for conservation, former police officer’s life saved by woman he arrested, Chinese vegan meat company expanding and Norwegian researchers determine method to save birds from wind turbines.

Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, assists displaced persons in Niger.

The government of Japan contributed US$200,000 in support of the International Organization of Migration’s (IOM’s) six-month emergency response in Niger. In collaboration with Niger’s Ministries of Public Health and Humanitarian Action and Disaster Management, the IOM seeks to improve access to health services for 14,000 displaced persons and host communities in the Diffa and Tillabéry regions. Communities assessed to be the most vulnerable will be provided with relief items to help mitigate risks of disease outbreaks. In addition, the IOM will transport healthcare workers to designated areas and transfer patients to health facilities when necessary. Pre- and post-natal care will be emphasized. Many thanks, Japan and the International Organization of Migration! We pray for all displaced individuals in the world to have their peace and stability restored, in the gracious benevolence of the Divine!

Researchers discover signs of life on Venus.

An international team of scientists based at the University of Manchester and Cardiff University, both in the United Kingdom and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, recently discovered the gas phosphine on clouds above Venus, the second closest planet to the sun. Phosphine can only be produced by bacteria and microbes, as far as is known. The finding leads the scientists to believe that there are some simple forms of life existing in Venus’ atmosphere, where the temperature is less extreme than the surface, which is 462 degrees Celsius and is covered in active volcanoes and hurricane force winds. The James Clerk Maxwell telescope located in Hawaii and the Atacama Large Millimeter Array situated in Chile detected the gas. Exciting news, global researchers! In Celestial wonder, may your discovery lead to a greater understanding of life forms in our amazing solar system.

Up next, researchers develop brightest known material. We will pause for a moment to thank roadside assistance agents who come to the rescue when we have car trouble. Please stay for more exciting news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi selfless friends, it’s me, Brody the vegan Bearded Reedling! My friends say that I uplift the energy and mood wherever I go. That’s because I am a happy vegan. Brighten up your surroundings by going vegan too! Corrosion can build up on circuit breaker contacts over the course of time. It can lead to irreversible damage. Make it a habit to simply flip each breaker on and off every two to three months. This regular procedure can significantly increase the lifespan of the circuits while not costing you anything! Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!

Scientists create brightest fluorescent substance on the planet.

Dr. Amar Flood of Indiana University in the United States and Dr. Bo Laursen of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, have developed a material called small-molecule ionic isolation lattices (SMILES). It utilizes a star-shaped molecule called a cyanostar, which separates the positively charged fluorescent dye molecules from the negatively charged ones. Traditionally, when trying to make highly concentrated fluorescent solids from dyes, the molecules would mix with each other and dim the brightness of the material. The new substance can be used to improve solar cells, medical lasers, 3D displays and more. What a remarkable achievement, Dr. Amar Flood and Dr. Bo Laursen. May your discovery lead to ever improving technology to benefit our world, in God’s brilliance.

Amazon Indigenous communities use drones to keep watchful eye on the forest.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Brazilian non-governmental organization Kanindé Ethno-Environmental Defense Association have collaborated with six Amazon Indigenous communities to use drones to monitor for illegal land clearing. Nineteen drones have been donated to the project, along with training on how to use them. The communities’ members can then use the data, images, and video produced by the drone as evidence of deforestation and other illegal activities when reporting to authorities. Each drone costs approximately US$2,000. The World Wildlife Fund is a Shining World Compassion Award Recipient. Our sincere appreciation, all Amazon Indigenous communities involved, World Wildlife Fund and Kanindé Ethno-Environmental Defense Association, for your dedication to preserving the precious Amazon rainforest. In the goodness of the Providence, may your endeavor be successful as you ensure the protection of your home, and the habitat of countless fellow Earthlings.

Recovered drug addict saves the life of a police officer who arrested her.

Jocelynn James of Alabama, United States, recently donated a kidney to retired officer Terrell Potter, who had previously arrested her on drug-related charges. He was in need of a transplant, but was facing a wait of up to eight years. Ms. James, 40-years-old and substance-abuse free for almost eight years, heard about his need on Facebook and offered one of her own kidneys, which was a perfect match for Mr. Potter. She credits the arrest by former Officer Potter as helping to turn her life around. Ms. James now operates “The Place of Grace,” an organization that has assisted over 900 people in seeking help to overcome addictions. Mr. Potter, who now thinks of Ms. James as a daughter, said of her generous gift, “It’s not just a coincidence. It’s just God. There is no other way.” Heaven bless you, Jocelynn James, for your noble deed! Wishing you and Terrell Potter good health and happiness, in the eternal love of the Divine.

Up next on Noteworthy News, vegan meat company expanding in China. We pause to appreciate the scientists who developed the weather forecast system, which allows us to plan ahead and lessen damages from storms and hurricanes. We’ll return with more illuminating news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Heart-warming News for a Joyful World.

Chinese vegan meat startup prepares to enter the national market.

Shanghai, China-headquartered Hey Maet, established this year by Chichi Hong, recently secured appreciable funding and a partnership with Shuangta Food, a major pea protein supplier. The company will produce a range of plant-based meats, including meatballs for hot pots, minced pork and beef, Chinese sausages and more, made from quality plant proteins such as pea, rice and soy. Their recent funding will be used for research and development, building a laboratory and scaling up manufacturing. By the end of the year, Hey Maet intends to be selling in thousands of restaurants in China. Way to go, Hey Maet and Shuangta Food, on your constructive partnership to bring plant-based meat alternatives to China. May the wise Chinese people quickly switch to vegan proteins as they protect themselves with compassionate eating, in Heaven’s grace.

Norwegian researchers determine method to save birds from wind turbines.

A team from the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research conducted a 10-year study at the Smøla wind farm on the west coast of Norway in which one blade out of the three on some of the wind turbines was painted black. It was determined that there was an almost 72% reduction in the loss of bird lives due to the painted turbine blades. The scientists believe that the black paint makes the rotating turbine blades more visible to the birds, and are encouraging further studies to help confirm their findings. Their report has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Ecology and Evolution. Our gratefulness, Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, for your loving efforts to safeguard our bird co-inhabitants. In Divine wisdom, may other wind farms also take actions to ensure our treasured winged friends are protected.

And now we’d like to add some more cheer to your day with a joke called “Say It with Flowers.”

A man stops by his local florist shop to buy flowers for his new girlfriend.

He asks the proprietor: “You know the expression, ‘You should say it with flowers?’”

“How about three dozen of my finest roses?”

“Make it a half dozen roses, I'm a man of few words.”

And now we have a heartline from Cheng Tzu-Tsai in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
