In today’s news, Azerbaijan commits to assist rebuilding earthquake-stricken areas in Türkiye, inflation rises unexpectedly in UK, researchers in Canada create new material to absorb forever chemicals, Utah, USA, restricts social media for children, teachers in India bring hope to female students, online vegan restaurant guide lists ten vegan fast-food chains worldwide, and animal-people activists save five bear-individuals from bile farm in Âu Lạc (Vietnam).
Here is a health tip for you! Be sure your children are well hydrated, especially if they play sports or are outside in hot, humid weather. Drinking water regularly is the best way for them to stay hydrated. Steer clear of adding any flavors or sweeteners to their drinks – plain water is just fine. Try creating a “fluid schedule” for athletic or active children to prevent them from getting dehydrated. This schedule will help them drink a sufficient amount before, during and after practices, meets and games. A hydrated child will be healthier and they'll also perform better in school and sports!
Now, it’s time to enter that laughter salon as the joke of the day is here. It’s entitled, “Helping to Write a Love Letter.”
Ethan works far away from his hometown and wants to write a message to his girlfriend, but he is illiterate. He reluctantly had to ask a friend to write down what he wanted to say. After the entire page had been filled with words of love and affectionate sweetness, his friend inquired:
“Is there anything else you wish to say?”
“No, just append a P.S. with: Sorry for the terrible handwriting and misspellings.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Ekhator in the Republic of Benin:
I sincerely thank Supreme Master Ching Hai for all She does for humanity. I wish Supreme Master long life, health, happiness and above all, please take good care of Yourself. Thanks to Your wonderful programs broadcast by Your Supreme Master Television channel, we have created a new international vegan festival in Benin which has been very successful. We will do our best to relay information about veganism around us. Our vegan movement is gaining momentum, the political and administrative authorities are interested, especially the mayor of Porto-Novo. As part of the promotion of vegan food in Africa, a free entry festival dedicated to the promotion of vegan food in Porto-Novo in Benin took place on December 24, 2022, at the OUADADA Cultural Center. The festival, entitled HAPPY VEGAN FAMILY, the largest vegan festival in West Africa and Benin, brings together vegan men and women and non-vegans in a festive moment, where conferences took place – debates on the benefits of the vegan diet for health and climate. Delicious vegan meals were shared, various local or imported vegan products were exhibited to the public; vegetable protein tasting sessions, shared vegan recipes, dance moments with local artists. The participants came from different countries such as Togo, Guadeloupe, France, Chad, Congo, Benin, etc. The focus has been on local vegan dishes. After this festival, many non-vegan participants resolved to adopt a vegan diet. One of the very important moments of the festival was the honorary decoration of some people who work hard for the cause of promoting veganism in Africa. The festival will take place every year in Porto-Novo to give more energy and joy to the vegan movement.
We sincerely thank Heaven for facilitating the organization of this festival. We thank the Supreme Master TV team for your devotion. You impacted us in Africa, especially in Benin in Porto-Novo. We wish Supreme Master Ching Hai long life and much happiness. The next edition promises to be very grand next year in Porto-Novo. Long live veganism in Benin, in Africa, and in the world! Ekhator from the Republic of Benin
Shining Ekhator, We thank you for your inspiring vegan energy and activities, as well as for the heartline.
Master has this enthusiastic reply for you: “Blessed Ekhator, thank you so much for this celebration of true joy. I am very happy to read of the progress you and your fellow brothers and sisters are making in sharing veganism in your country with many people. I send you much Love and pray the Godses watch over you and your superb country, Benin, bringing joy and abundance to all. With fondest memory of your gentle people, the surprise festive welcoming dance, the royal wakeup-call music band in front of my room, and the very special warm Reception by His Majesty King Agoli-Agbo Dédjalagni of Benin and the Benin Royal Family during my honored visit to your beautiful country some years back, which made me in awe-wonder at such an Elegant-Spirited People and what a Regal Nation Benin is. I am sending an affectionate hug from my heart to each of you, brothers and sisters in Benin; as words can’t always express what we feel inside, and by our sacred spiritual-connection!”
