I’d like to share one of my favorite recipes for a lovely apple pastry with you. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper. Roll out two vegan puff pastry sheets on a cutting board and cut strips about 1.5 centimeters (1/2 inch) wide using a knife or pizza cutter. Mix 30 grams of caster or granulated sugar in a bowl with two heaping teaspoons (5 grams) of ground cinnamon. Cut four apples from top to bottom into thick slices and remove the core with a small round cookie cutter. Generously coat these slices with the cinnamon sugar and wrap the pastry strips around each of the apple slices until completely covered. Seal with dairy-free milk to help it stick and brush some more on the top for browning. Sprinkle any left-over cinnamon mix on top. Set the pastries on the lined baking trays, ensuring there is enough room to spread out while baking. Bake on the middle rack for 12-15 minutes or until the pastries are flakey, puffed up, and have a golden-brown hue. After cooling, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Top them off with a drizzle of vegan caramel sauce to serve!
Let’s hop on that giggle boat and flow with the following joke. It’s entitled “Good Effort.”
An employee complains to his boss,
“Sorry, boss, but I have to say that the salary you're paying me doesn’t even remotely match the effort I put into my work.”
“I know, but we want you to be able to afford your rent at the very least.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Đình Trung in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:
THE SEA IS SO IMMENSE AND SO DEEP
YET, WE WILL REACH ITS BOTTOM IN A FEW DAYS
MY MASTER’S HEART, I ROAM ENDLESSLY
YET, THERE IS NO BOTTOM, NO LIMIT TO YOUR LOVE
A MOTHER'S LOVE SACRIFICES BEYOND MEASURE
HER TEARS AND SWEAT FILL THE SEA
ALL THE SUFFERING AND HARD WORK FOR HER CHILDREN
CAN’T BE DESCRIBED BY ANY SPOKEN OR WRITTEN WORD!
Dear Most Compassionate Master, I got initiated in 2009. I am very blessed and happy to have been born into a vegan family, chosen to be a vegan cook, and facilitated by my family to open a Loving Hut restaurant. For all these blessings, I would like to thank Master a thousand times. I vow to practice diligently in order to spread veganism the best way!
The process of opening the Loving Hut restaurant was like a miracle. Now, the restaurant is operating stably. I see Your trace everywhere. For the restaurant’s tables and chairs, bar counter, and decorative items, I used a recycled source from a flea market or bought raw materials to do it ourselves. My father weaved the pretty lamp baskets by himself, using bamboo, to make unique marks for the restaurant.
I always feel that You take care of our restaurant in every little detail. We always try to cook vegan dishes for customers in the most perfect way. I would like to send to You the following warm feelings (reviews) from international friends which they wrote on Google Maps:
An Australian customer: The vegan restaurant in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) was wonderful. The food was delicious and very cheap. I paid AUD$8 per person and the quality was equivalent to a posh restaurant in Australia (from AUD$50-80). My friend, who is not yet vegetarian, exclaimed that it was so delicious and wanted to come back right that evening!
Russian customer: I found a very delicious vegan restaurant in Âu Lạc (Vietnam). We loved the soup, fried rice, steamed rice rolls, etc. On the 1st and 15th of the month, they had a vegan buffet which was so delicious and diverse.
English customer: I normally don’t leave any review, but this time I wanted to. The vegan dishes were so wonderful, fresh and delicious. Especially they had two lovely kittens and elevated music. The price was extremely cheap. I give you five stars!
I sincerely wish that Your WORLD VEGAN, WORLD PEACE soon become reality. I also wish Supreme Master Television to be more and more excellent. Disciple Đình Trung from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)
Creative Đình Trung, Thank you for your heartline. How wonderful for you and your family to have constructed another Loving Hut for more diners to enjoy delectable vegan food.
Master has this happy response for you: “Blessed Đình Trung, bravo to you and your family. My dear chef, you have evidently found the magic ingredient for your cuisine – unconditional love, and I, too, would be eager to dine at your Loving Hut restaurant. I send you my loving thanks for your beautiful words and the elevated vegan food that nourishes your community. May you, your family, and the cheerful Aulacese (Vietnamese) people be forever protected in Buddha’s merciful Grace. Love you and your family ones.”
