Sri Lankans rescued from vessel in trouble by cooperative effort.
The Sri Lankan Navy received a call for help from a ship, with over 300 Sri Lankan citizens on board, that was taking in water. The navy contacted the Centre for Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination (MRCC), as the ship was between Âu Lạc (Vietnam) and the Philippines. After receiving the call, the MRCC asked a nearby Japanese cargo vessel, the Helios Leader, to assist the distressed ship. All the passengers were safely rescued and are currently in the care of authorities in three camps near Vũng Tàu Port in southern Âu Lạc (Vietnam). Our praises, Sri Lankan Navy, MRCC, Japanese vessel Helios Leader, and authorities in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), for your lifesaving efforts for these Sri Lankan people. May they be blessed with peace and prosperity, in Buddha’s loving protection.
United Nations chief cautions “humanity has become a weapon of mass extinction.”
In his opening speech at the recent United Nations (UN) Biodiversity Conference (COP15), the UN Secretary-General, His Excellency António Guterres, warned that humanity is “treating nature like a toilet” and “has become a weapon of mass extinction.” He highlighted that we have turned once-flourishing ecosystems into wastelands through deforestation and desertification, and have polluted our land, water and air with chemicals, pesticides and plastics. Moreover, the world has produced “skyrocketing” emissions and “thrown our climate into chaos” with fossil fuels and “unsustainable production and consumption.” According to the UN chief, humankind’s destructive actions have pushed 1 million species to the brink of extinction, with “plants, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates,” all at risk. The United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Our gratefulness for your urgent, vital warnings, Your Excellency António Guterres. For the survival of all beings on Earth, may every world citizen swiftly embrace the cure-all vegan way of life, in God’s Omniscience. Vegan: let’s reclaim our birth right as benevolent children of God.

You can try this in your life, too! Now, I’d like to brighten your day with a delicious tip from our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan). “Hallo Precious, have you ever tried potatoes and seaweed? Oh, they are awesome! Just boil the new potatoes till they are soft – around 15 to 20 minutes, test if they are cooked by piercing a fork or chopstick through one of them, then serve yourself or and loved family members with sesame-oil-fried, salty seaweed from Korea. Bet you will want more. Bon appétit! God Loves you kids.” We love You too, Master! And, wow, this recipe sounds so appetizing and simple! We can’t wait to try it. Thank You, Supreme Master Ching Hai, for lovingly sharing it with us. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, thus save the world! And thank you for your attention. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.
Declining numbers of COVID infections reported in England, Wales, and Scotland for end of November 2022.
According to data released by the United Kingdom’s Office for National Statistics, COVID infections revealed a falling trend in England, Wales and Scotland at the end of November 2022, while Northern Ireland reported a stable rate during the same period. Information collected from the whole of the UK also showed that there is a decreasing number of people admitted to hospitals due to COVID. However, the United Kingdom Health Security Agency anticipates that the winter months ahead might see a “twindemic” of COVID-19 as well as the flu, with those under the age of three and over the age of 85 most vulnerable to infections. Thank you, Office for National Statistics and other agencies involved, for this report. May the kindhearted people of the United Kingdom swiftly turn to a plant-based lifestyle to help end the pandemic and live in a healthy, blessed world, in Heaven’s infinite benevolence.
Experiment growing plants on buildings in Africa lessen indoor heat.
A recent study led by Dr. Olumuyiwa Adegun from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, in Nigeria, found that vertical greening systems could address health problems caused by high temperatures and provide nutritious food for low-income communities in Nigeria and Tanzania. Using high-density polyethylene pipes placed horizontally on residential building walls in both countries, the prototype reduced indoor air temperatures by up to 2.88 degrees Celsius and wall temperatures by up to 5 degrees Celsius. This provided added comfort to building residents and reduced heat-related health risks. The setup grew indigenous leafy vegetables like jute leaf, African spinach and legumes, producing up to one kilogram of vegetables every six weeks. Our accolades, Dr. Olumuyiwa Adegun and co-researchers, for your beneficial study to help improve the health and wellness of those living in vulnerable urban areas. May the vibrant people of Africa be blessed with such innovative solutions and a gentler, kinder climate, in God’s sheltering Comfort.
Fireman in Bulgaria saves lives after incident on train.
The head of the state fire control department in Varna, Bulgaria, Varban Georgiev, was on a train traveling from Sofia to Varna when he noticed a fire in the carriage. He pulled the emergency brake and evacuated the passengers. The cause of the blaze is unknown, although it may have been a technical failure or cigarette. The over 50 travelers were uninjured and transported to the Kaspichan station, and then finished the rest of their journey on buses. However, one driver sustained slight injuries. Many thanks, Varban Georgiev, for your lifesaving actions on the train. In the ever-benevolent guidance of the Providence, may the heroic fire personnel all over the world be protected as they dedicate their lives to saving others. “U r loving the animal-people? Then, u r lying if u r not vegan!”

Global plant-based food market projected to grow over 160% from 2021 to 2027.
According to a report produced by ResearchAndMarkets.com, a market research store, the worldwide plant-based food business is expected to grow from US$39.42 billion in 2021 to US$103.56 billion in 2027. The paper details the growth by type, distribution channel and region. In 2021, plant-based dairy products led all plant-based categories in growth, and the Asia Pacific region constituted over 45% of the share of the global market. Online purchases are projected to have the top compound annual growth rate for all distribution channels through 2027. The rise of the plant-based food sector is being driven by the increase in the vegan population, health and environmental considerations, and rapid urbanization, among other factors. Our gratitude, ResearchAndMarkets.com, for creating this encouraging report. May humanity quickly switch to the compassionate vegan lifestyle for the survival and well-being of all lives on Earth, in Celestial wisdom.
University in United States agrees to release dog-people used in experiments.
The Texas A&M University in the United States, recently agreed to release all of the golden retriever dog-people that they had been using in experiments. The move comes after extensive campaigning by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), which included protests on campus, media coverage, a court case, and more. The dog-people were bred to have a painful disorder called canine muscular dystrophy, and the experiments involved biopsies and a device to stretch their muscle tissues. After 40 years of experiments, there is still no cure for the disease. PETA is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, and Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has previously donated US$80,000 to support its work. Our appreciation, PETA, for helping to end the painful experiments on our dog-people co-inhabitants. In the grace of the Divine, may all testing on people from the animal kingdom soon end, as we cherish and protect all life as if it were our own.
Now, it's time to embrace our inner child with some hearty giggles as the joke of the day is ready. It's called, “Get in Shape.”
Larry went to his annual check-up with his doctor.
“So, Larry, same as last year... you need to exercise. Why you don't exercise?”
“Well, the trouble with jogging is that by the time I realize I'm not in shape for it, it’s too far to walk back home.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Wei-Ting in China:
Hallo, respected Supreme Master TV team, The arrival of Christmas reminds me of a short video broadcasted in 2006 when Supreme Master TV was just launched. It’s a violin melody played along with Master’s pictures, which was beyond beautiful. The precious video has been preserved by me up to now, which never fails to touch me each time it is replayed. In these 15 years, there have been a lot of changes in Supreme Master TV. However, its inner quality remains the best and unchanged, just like the great effort put into the production of the short video mentioned above.
Master once said that whenever you have any questions, just watch Supreme Master TV attentively and you’ll definitely have the answer. At one time, I did encounter some troubles in my life. When I tuned in to Supreme Master TV, Master was talking about the women’s situation in Afghanistan, saying, “Any country, it’s just like any humans’ life, it has some ups and downs. Some upheavals and some changes. And we just have to take it accordingly, so that we have more peace within. The more important is peace within our heart, within our soul. It’s not the outside appearance. And if everyone has peace in their heart, then the country might have more peace and more lasting peace.” I was awakened right away. Isn’t “peace within our heart” a lesson for us to learn all the time? I have so many more miraculous experiences like this that I can’t mention them all. Supreme Master TV is like a treasure, which has been bringing me Master’s gifts one after another.
The attached video is what I recorded in the early days to witness the great changes of Supreme Master TV during these years, the development of working teams of different generations, and the painstaking effort that Master has put in for a long time. I wish Master all the best and that the Supreme Master TV team is working smoothly. May the world’s people soon awaken, turn vegan and realize “World Vegan, World Peace!” Wei-Ting from China
Serene Wei-Ting, Your words are a beautiful reminder of the Divine essence within, that is Peace and Love. We join you in earnest gratitude to Master, without whose Grace we would not know such bliss. Our thanks for writing, and may the Godses bestow good fortune on you and benevolent China. In Universal wisdom, Supreme Master TV team
