Here is a useful tip if you are going on a long flight and want to get enough rest and sleep before you arrive at your destination. Prior to your trip, prepare a sleep kit. It should include cotton socks, an eye mask, and a travel scarf or pillow. It may be cold on the plane, so come prepared with a sweater and extra blanket. It is a good idea to walk around the airport for about 30 minutes before you board, as this can help you fall asleep quicker and sleep better once you are in flight. Try to book a good seat next to the window or with leg space for the most restorative sleep. The wings are the quietest area and are typically where the emergency exits are located, which means extra leg room. Avoid sitting near the lavatories, as people tend to chat around there and you will be more frequently disturbed. Ask the flight attendants in advance when the food will be served, so you can time your sleep around it and ensure you are not disrupted by the service. I wish you sweet dreams and safe travels the next time you fly!
Now, it’s time to give yourself a cheerfulness boost through laughter with the joke we have prepared for you. It’s entitled “Don’t Forget to Call Back.”
A woman phones a medical clinic.
“Hallo? I feel very tired. I hope Dr. Davis can see me soon today.”
“Sorry, ma'am, Dr. Davis is out of town. He is attending a conference and won't be back for another three days. I will give you an 8 am appointment for the first day he is back in the office.”
“Wait three days? But what if I'm dead by then?”
“In that case, don't forget to tell your family members to call back so I can delete your name from the appointment book!”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Jing-Ya in China:
Hallo, respected Supreme Master Ching Hai and saints of the Supreme Master TV team, All the programs of your TV station are very splendid, conveying beautiful energy of peace and wisdom to the world.
My husband and I also like your programs about Aulạcese (Vietnamese) traditional literature and art. Though we don’t understand the language, we feel intimate and intoxicated when listening to all those Aulacese (Vietnamese) songs sung by Master in the earlier days. We never get tired of watching and listening to the video album of Master singing Trịnh Công Sơn’s songs; both the lyrics and melodies are all about humanity and beautiful longing for love and peace. Even the songs describing the war and mourning the martyrs contain no words of violence or resentment; they express sympathy for their suffering compatriots and the longing for peace.
After downloading the Aulacese (Vietnamese) musical program, “Whatever Belongs to Caesar Must Be Returned to Caesar,” my husband and I have watched it several times and are deeply impressed by the funny and humorous acting of the father-in-law and the two servants in the play. From the many songs and musicals of Âu Lạc (Vietnam), we have come to understand the industrious, beautiful, and simple virtues of the Aulacese (Vietnamese) people.
The singing and dancing performances of Master’s Aulacese (Vietnamese) disciples are also the programs that attract us the most. The dances themselves and the songs, costumes, stage props, settings, etc., are all of unique ethnic style. The Aulacese (Vietnamese) traditional clothing – the Áo dài and the flat palm hat show even more the femininity of Asian women! One of the dreams that my husband and I have is to visit Âu Lạc (Vietnam) one day and buy for ourselves an Áo dài suit and flat palm hat!
Once again, I would like to thank Supreme Master Ching Hai, for giving the global viewers the opportunity to understand the thoughts, cultures, and customs, etc., of all countries and nations in the world, making us realize that human beings in the global village are all children of God. May the world of Great Harmony, where all people live as a family, be realized soon! Respectfully, A faithful viewer, Jing-Ya from China
All the years of enmity have been forgotten
Today sees the sun renewed
I love Heaven, I love myself
I love you
I love the light of the newly arriving peace
All the years of enmity have been forgotten
Today sees tears streaming softly
in father’s heart and in your heart
in the heart of a gentle child
Enriched Jing-Ya, We thank you for your comments and are pleased to learn how much you enjoy the Aulacese (Vietnamese) plays, poetry, music, and songs on Supreme Master Television. While sometimes sad, there is always peace and beauty to be found, especially in Master’s performances which elevate us beyond this world. May you and the art-loving people of China continue to be spiritually uplifted in Buddha’s eternal Light. In Celestial splendor, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master wrote the following to you: “Bright-minded Jing-Ya, and husband, your feedback makes my day! The Aulacese (Vietnamese) language is itself poetic and hence is difficult to translate into other languages. I too enjoy listening to and watching the talented Aulacese (Vietnamese) artists, and Trịnh Công Sơn’s gentle heart, messages and expressions through song are remembered proudly by the people of Âu Lạc (Vietnam). I fondly recall enjoying the “Unification through Heavenly Melody” conference in 2018, with many beautiful performances by Aulacese (Vietnamese) artists. With my thanks, and much Love, I hope that you, your husband, and the innocent Chinese people will forever be blessed with uplifting and inspiring music, songs, movies and theatre. I myself, too, enjoy such Chinese art-performances very much!”
