I have a safety tip for you. Hypothermia is a serious condition when your core body temperature drops below 35 degrees Celsius. Signs of hypothermia may be shivering, which is a natural response as the body tries to warm itself; slow, shallow breathing, which is a sign of the body conserving energy; pale, cold, or dry skin; tiredness, confusion, irrational behavior, or reduced responsiveness; and a slow, weakened pulse. Acting promptly is essential. If you suspect hypothermia, move the person out of the cold, immediately call an ambulance or medical emergency response, and provide a warm drink, food, or chocolate. Keep the person warm, but do not immerse in warm or hot water, as this can be a dangerous shock.
