Today I'd like to offer a handy tip. When the caulk in your shower, bathtub or around the sink becomes old, it will get moldy and discolored and begin to separate. This causes water to seep into areas it shouldn’t, in addition to making it unsanitary and unattractive. When this happens, you should remove the old caulk using a sharp knife, and then scrub it clean with a stiff brush. When dry, use a caulking gun and a squeeze tube to apply new caulk. While doing so, if you are not able to get a long bead completed in one go, make sure you begin at the other end when you start again, then meet in the middle where you stopped. If you continue where you left off, you will create a glob, which makes the caulking job less attractive and even.
Now, it’s time to pull your hilarity seat back and enjoy the following joke. It’s called, “The Importance of Learning a Foreign Language.”
Two guys were working at the airport, when a foreigner walked up to them. He asked them in Spanish where the baggage claim area was. Neither could understand him, so they shook their heads. He asked again, this time in German. Again, the two workers did not understand him. He tried in Polish and then in French, but both times, they couldn't understand him. So, he walked away in hopes of finding someone else who could help him. Then, one employee turned to the other employee and said:
“You know, maybe we should learn a second language.”
“Why would you want to do that?”
“Well, it might help in situations like these.”
“I don't know. What good would knowing a second language really be? I mean, that guy knew four languages and it didn't help him any.”
?!
