Since becoming a teetotaler when I turned vegan, I have explored many wonderful and refreshing drinks. Many of them rely on lime or lemon juices. I have a cool tip on how to get the most juice out of your limes and lemons. After you cut open your fruit, use a fork to prod away at its flesh. This will lightly break up the pulpy membranes and allow the juice to be released easily. After you have completed this step, squeeze the lime or lemon as you typically would, or use a juicer or reamer for additional help. If you want to get every last drop out, twist the lime or lemon around the tines of the fork while squeezing the fruit.
You’ll most likely feel some hilarity flow into your day when you hear the following joke. It’s entitled “Convenient Party.”
It was 2 am, and a senior citizen couple could not sleep because there was loud music coming from the house across the street. So the husband went and knocked on their noisy neighbor's door.
“Howdy, Ernesto!”
“My wife and I can’t sleep.”
“Well, it’s your lucky day, Ernesto! We’ve got a party going on here. Come in!”
