Today, I’d like to share a beneficial tip from veterinarians regarding your dog-person's playtime. While tennis balls are a popular choice for fetch, it's important to be aware of potential health risks. During an energetic game of fetch, tennis balls can undergo a transformation, turning their surface into something akin to sandpaper. This abrasive quality, combined with saliva, dirt, and sand, could lead to significant damage to your dog-folk's teeth and gums. Instead of tennis balls, consider choosing a smoother option, like a rubber ball, which won't accumulate debris. By making this simple swap, you can help ensure your dog-individual 's mouth stays healthy and happy when retrieving the ball. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to rinse the toys after use so they avoid bacterial growth in between playtimes.
The joke of the day is already ringing the guffaw doorbell, so we’d better let it in. It’s called “On Time.”
Two friends from school are in the same class. One asks the other:
“Do you know why I've been on time to class more often these days?”
“Actually, I don’t…I’m guessing that maybe you recently bought a watch?”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Yun-Xin in China:
Thanks to most Esteemed and Beloved Master and the respected Supreme Master TV team,
After a heavy rain, there was a clear sky. I went to the top floor to watch the sunset. It’s a wide platform and there were some puddles. I suddenly spotted a moth with his belly facing upward, lying on the wet ground. I picked him up carefully. The little moth’s abdomen was only the size of a long rice grain, but he had a pair of wings like a plantain leaf which were many times bigger than his body size! I wiped the water off his wings so that he could fly, but he failed. He fell twice on the ground with his belly facing upward. I moved him onto the wooden fence, and hoped the water on his body would evaporate.
In the early morning of the next day, I went to the top floor to watch the sunrise, as usual, with an initiated sister who lives in the same building. Thinking of the moth, I rushed to check, but couldn’t find him on the wooden fence nor on the floor nearby! We sat down and talked about what had happened yesterday. Suddenly, an “unexpected guest” came into my sight. “Look! Look at the moth!” I yelled to the sister. The moth circled around in front of the sister and me, stopped briefly on my knee, and then flew away. I immediately stood up to see him disappearing in the distance…
God, Almighty God! Each of Your creations is so perfect and marvelous! Even a little moth knows to fly back to say, “Thank you!” In comparison, how ignorant and insignificant humans are, the so-called “spirit of all creatures!” Not only are we ungrateful, but we are also pushing the rich and beautiful Planet Earth, bestowed upon humanity by God as the very foundation of our existence, towards an impending abyss of destruction! Humankind in slumber, please wake up right away. Stop daydreaming! Ignorant humankind, please repent sincerely and deeply! Stop war! Stop killing lovely animal-people! Please adopt the vegan diet! Protect our bountiful and beautiful Planet Earth! Protect yourselves and your innocent and lovely children and grandchildren! Mother Earth is crying! Mother Earth is screaming! Have you heard that? Please give back our Mother Earth clean land and a blue sky! With palms together, Yun-Xin from China
Creative Yun-Xin, Our hearts were moved by this grateful little moth. Indeed, we must be mindful of the many small beings that inhabit our world too. Thank you for being so kind and telling this story. May the radiant Sun brighten each day for you, your friends, and the gracious Chinese people. In Celestial Light, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master lovingly replied: “Gentle Yun-Xin, your tender heart shines. We are blessed by the delicate beauty of the moths and butterflies who, during their short lives, pollinate and balance our ecosystems. May the abundant Blessings of the Mighty Buddha be with you and benevolent China always.”
