Bird-people of a feather flock together, so I'd like to share a handy tip on how to make a DIY hanging perch swing for my good friends – the lovely hummingbird individuals. Perches are necessary for hummingbird-citizens since they aren’t able to jump on the ground like other bird-people. Perches allow them to clean their feathers, warmup, and provide a space to rest from flying to conserve energy and digest their food. You can craft a perch by using a thin, wooden dowel rod or a straight stick from the garden. Gather some strands of wire between 12 and 20 gauge and form an arch with the thicker wire. When this is ready, you can secure the swing inside the arch using the thinner wire. Place the finished creation in a safe place in your garden around one to 1.5 meters above the ground near the flowers they enjoy. The visiting hummingbird-people will surely appreciate your efforts in creating a wonderful place for them to rest!
Now, it’s time to say goodbye to the tension in your body as the joke of the day is about to arrive. It’s entitled “Birthday Heartburn.”
A patient went to the doctor.
“Doctor, I seem to get heartburn every time I eat vegan birthday cake.”
“Next time, try to take off the candles first.”
