Some say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and while that may have some truth, you also need to have good posture practices to keep your body aligned and balanced. Here is a tip for better shoulders. Forward-rounded shoulders can develop if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer or are regularly slouched forward. One beneficial stretch for this condition is the Chest Doorway Stretch: Position yourself facing a doorway, arms bent at 90 degrees, with forearms resting on the doorframe. Take a step forward, allowing your chest to open and shoulders to stretch backwards gently. Hold this position for 15–30 seconds, completing three times. Aim to perform it 2-3 times daily. If you experience any discomfort or pain during this stretch, you may need to consult with a physical therapist or fitness expert for proper guidance on form and technique.
The following joke will most likely lift your mood, so it’s worth a listen. This one’s entitled “Error 404.”
A man calls tech support in a panic.
“My computer keeps saying, ‘Error 404: Social Life Not Found.’ What does it mean?!”
“Sir, that just means you haven't been on any social media lately.”
“Oh, thank goodness! I thought it meant my computer was lonely!”
“Well, we can address that loneliness too, sir, but it might require a different kind of tech support... maybe a friend?”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Sienna in the United Kingdom:
Dear my Beloved Respected Master, Supreme Master TV team and all viewers, I am a nurse who works for a busy NHS (National Health Service) hospital in North West London and hereby sharing some good news with you.
First, it’s about the Veganuary campaign I’m running for my fellow NHS colleagues. All my colleagues can request a free vegan cookbook called “Eating for Tomorrow” within the month of January. Since announcing this in the staff news bulletin on January 11 (up till January 19, 2024), 80 of my NHS colleagues from different specialities and of different levels have responded and they expressed keen interest in trying out or changing to veganism/ plant-based diets.
On January 19, 2024, my day off, I spent half a day delivering the vegan cookbooks to 40 of them one by one. They were so excited to see the beautiful pictures of appetizing vegan foods in the cookbook. They expressed their sincere appreciation and most of them happily shared their excitement about getting the vegan cookbook with their fellow colleagues. So, this is really good news as people are open to change!!
I want to take this opportunity to thank my friends at Eating Our Way to Extinction/ Eating for Tomorrow for their kindness and generosity in gifting my NHS colleagues with their amazing “Eating for Tomorrow” vegan cookbook. Prior to this Veganuary campaign at the workplace, I have run vegan stalls in the past, with the help of Plant-based Health Professionals (PBHP), who supported me with their healthcare expertise and advice via social media sharing, group support/interaction as well as their amazing leaflets suited to the hospital environment or healthcare professionals. My appreciation to PBHP.
Another good news I want to share is about a new study by the Office of Health Economics that shows a 100% switch to vegan or plant-based diets in England could save NHS £6.7 billion a year. This research is funded by the Vegan Society. My appreciation to the Vegan Society. Lastly, I’m very grateful to God Almighty, for such wonderful opportunities to serve. Sienna from the United Kingdom
Generous Sienna, We are so glad to hear of the success of your Veganuary campaign. Congratulations on reaching so many of your coworkers. May they all go vegan and help transform your hospital into a plant-based haven. May you and the forward-thinking people of the United Kingdom help lead the way to a brighter future for our world, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has a message for you: “Inspired Sienna, it is so wonderful to hear of your project. You are already serving in a noble work as a nurse in the NHS, the UK’s loving, caring hospital system, but despite your busy, demanding schedule, you still offer your precious time to carry out a higher purpose, for the world’s lofty ideal! This is the spirit our world needs right now and especially when it comes to helping people make constructive changes in their lives. The vegan diet solves so many of humankind’s problems. This is the most important but so feasible change that anyone can make. We can all contribute to making our planet better and more positive. Continue to promote the vegan diet in any way you can. Love you! May you and the noble United Kingdom know God’s unconditional Mercy.”
