I’d like to share a heart health tip with you today. Heart experts advise that recognizing major heart-related symptoms is vital for early treatment to help prevent serious medical complications. Chest pain or discomfort, pressure, squeezing, or tightness, especially if it radiates to the arms, neck, or jaw or stomach, could indicate a heart attack. Sudden, severe shortness of breath may signal heart attack, heart failure, or pulmonary embolism. Unexplained nausea or vomiting, coupled with other symptoms, could also be a sign of a heart attack. Irregular heartbeat or palpitations, or a sensation of fluttering in the chest may suggest arrhythmia. Sudden dizziness, swelling in legs, ankles, or abdomen may be a sign of heart failure. If you experience any of these symptoms, get medical assistance right away, as prompt intervention could have significant effects on the outcome.
What great timing! The laugh delivery truck just dropped off the joke of the day! It’s called “Pumpkin First Aid.”
“Hey, Tommy, how do you fix a cracked pumpkin?”
“Oh, that’s a hard one. Tell me, Tony.”
“A pumpkin patch!”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Lin-Hua in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Hallo, Inspired by Supreme Master TV’s program “Multi-part Series of Courage and Compassion on the Street, Part 4: The AV United Cube of Truth – Anonymous for the Voiceless,” the useful tip on Noteworthy News on January 21, 2024, (“You can further educate yourself on veganism by viewing documentaries such as ‘Dominion,’ ‘What the Health,’ and ‘Cowspiracy.’ These will serve as reminders of why you are going vegan and help motivate you on your journey,”) and Master’s lecture on December 30, 2019, (“I am sure many people who eat meat and drink milk or things, they do not know this. Otherwise, they would not want to. That’s why it’s our duty to spread the news. Tell them to watch ‘Cowspiracy,’ ‘Earthlings,’ ‘Dominion,’ these kinds of films, to awaken their compassion and tell the truth. So, they know the truth. That way they will stop it.”)
This year, a few friends and I, as animal rights volunteers, went to some sightseeing spots to play the “Dominion” documentary on a TV set.
A child watched the TV for a while, went to the pavilion to rest, looked thoughtfully at the text on the documentary card, and then returned to watch in front of the TV. We could feel the child’s inner struggle.
A gentleman who owns a lacto-ovo vegetarian restaurant watched it for tens of minutes and saw that little roosters and male calves would be killed once they’re born, so he decided to strive towards veganism. He thanked us for showing the documentary.
Two ladies said that they were Tzu Chi members, also vegans and promoted veganism, but they felt that the results were not very effective, so they were a little discouraged. I said, “People would not tell us if they became a vegan after our advocacy, but the impression in their minds might make them change. So, we just do it.”
Another time, in Daxi Zhongzheng Park, I heard a young man who had just taken a documentary card ask why the little roosters were killed as soon as they were born.
An elementary school teacher asked in confusion what the relationship between eating meat and global warming was. After our explanation, the elementary teacher asked for the documentary cards, saying that she would watch the documentary when she went back and help promote it.
The information we usually think everyone knows is not as widespread as imagined. Setting up a TV to let people see the truth by themselves is more effective than us talking about it for a long time. Afterwards, we put the content of the documentary into flyers, hoping that people could learn more about the benefits of a vegan diet for themselves and the Earth and change soon. Thank you, Master and Supreme Master TV, for your inspiration. May all kind dreams come true. Respectfully, Lin-Hua from Taiwan (Formosa)
Bright-minded Lin-Hua, We are happy to learn that you are making a real difference in your community and hope that your efforts go a long way in cultivating a beautiful haven for our animal-people co-inhabitants. May you and picturesque Taiwan (Formosa) be a shining example of wise leadership by nurturing love and compassion, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has a message for you: “Intelligent Lin-Hua, it is deeply saddening to watch the plight of humans who have been deceived by the negative force life after life. The large-scale massacre of animal-people for food has been concealed from the public. We thank all involved in those documentaries, which help the public to be more aware of the soulless and utter brutal murder en masse of the innocents by the slaughterhouses worldwide, wishing them God’s Love! Slowly, many are beginning to realize that it is inhumane to take the life of another sentient being for sustenance. We need to hasten our efforts to make this information more widely known and accessible. Lots of love to you and your wonderful brothers and sisters. May you and the benevolent Taiwanese (Formosan) people soon see Heaven on Earth in the merciful Blessings of Buddha.”
