In today’s news, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai presents the Shining World Compassion Award to Australian wildlife aid group, scientist believes extraterrestrial-made object visited our solar system in 2017, researchers raise concern after finding microplastics atop world’s highest mountain, new portable tiny home introduced in United States, women-led Finland garners attention and praise, first vegan support center opens in Middle East, and Russian capital works to help shelter animals find new homes.

In Shining World Compassion Award News from Australia …

With the talented help of many volunteers, the Animal Rescue Cooperative Craft Guild creates and distributes soft fabric items like wraps, pouches, and mittens to aid in the recovery of injured wildlife. The animals helped include kangaroos, koalas, wombats, wallabies, bats, birds and more. They are often treated as part of disaster relief efforts such as those following the 2020 Australian bushfires.

“So during the bushfires, we had a huge need for koala mittens, which were used for koalas that had burnt their paws in the fire. We have bat wraps, so they’re used for baby bats who have lost their mother. We do a lot of pouches for kangaroos and wallabies. We also have just gotten into doing possum palaces, which are these amazing crocheted little hollows for possums, and they’ve been really popular. We do little nests as well. They’ve been used for birds obviously, but I’ve also seen them used for orphaned kittens as well. Just having that comfort around them. So we do craft for wildlife, for companion animals like cats and dogs. We care about all animals.”

Our Benevolent Supreme Master Ching Hai was delighted to present the Shining World Compassion Award to the Animal Rescue Cooperative Craft Guild along with “a humble gift of US$15,000 for this loving endeavor, with love, respect and gratitude in God’s mercy.”

Our Association members in Sydney, Australia, were pleased to present the Award letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial gift, as well as Her publications and DVDs to the Craft Guild.

“This Award is presented in recognition of your caring altruism, venturing to remote areas to bring joy to injured wildlife. Your benevolence heralds a new era of empathy, nurturing a kinder home for all Earth’s co-inhabitants... Heaven bless you!”

“Oh that’s just gorgeous. Thank You so much. This means so much to us and to all of our volunteers. I mean honestly, we couldn’t do any of what we do without them and the amazing creative people that we have on board, who care about animals just as much as we do. Supreme Master Ching Hai, thank You so much for the amazing work that You do, for Your compassion, for Your assistance to both humans and animals. It’s people like You that make this world a better place. Thank You for thinking of us, and thank You, and we hope You continue the amazing work that You do. Thank you so much. This is just absolutely wonderful.”

Our jubilant congratulations, Allison Cairns and team at the Animal Rescue Cooperative Craft Guild. May your devoted efforts continue bringing comfort to animals in need, as we all strive to care for our fellow Earthlings with reverence and love.

For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to Animal Rescue Cooperative Craft Guild, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date.

Astrophysicist believes extraterrestrial-made object visited our solar system recently.

Astrophysicist Dr. Abraham Avi Loeb from Harvard University in the United States has theorized that an object detected passing through our solar system in 2017 could have been discarded material from another, intelligent civilization. Named 'Oumuamua, meaning “Scout” in Hawaiian, by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the celestial body was estimated to be 400 meters long and 40 meters wide, which is an unheard-of shape for a comet or other rocky body. It was also very bright, ten times more reflective than comets or asteroids. Plus, after passing our Sun and moving away from it, 'Oumuamua started to accelerate without leaving a tail, unlike a comet. Such fascinating evidence of extraterrestrial technology, Dr. Abraham Avi Loeb. In Celestial harmony, may we learn more and eventually foster friendly relations with our advanced interstellar neighbors.

Up next, researchers concerned after finding microplastics near world’s highest mountain peak. We’ll just take a little time to thank the friendly staff at the car rental places, who help us get going for our next trip, even arranging for our pickup and drop-off. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more thoughtful news.

Hi there, I’m Jamo the vegan Springbok! How can you become a more powerful human being? By lifting others up, instead of putting them down. In other words, be vegan! Here is a computer tip for you. If you frequently enter the same sentence in Word, you can save time by creating a macro shortcut so that your computer will insert the text for you. First, go to the View pane and Macros. There will be an option for you to record a Macro. Within that pane, pick your keyboard shortcut keys, for example, Alt and H together. Then go to your Word document and enter your desired phrase, such as: Have a lovely day! When you are finished, press the Stop Recording button. From now on, whenever you press your shortcut keys, the text you want will automatically be inserted! Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike, and thank you for watching. Now, the weather around the world.

Concern raised after microplastics found on Mount Everest.

Researchers from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom together with colleagues from the UK, United States and Nepal, recently found tiny particles of plastic in samples of snow and water taken at various levels of the famed Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain. They were surprised to find these pollutants even close to the peak, at 8,440 meters. Microplastics are not only difficult to clean up, but they can also be ingested by animals and harm them. The researchers suggested that the material may have traveled up there by wind or come apart from hiking equipment. Our appreciation, all involved, for your eye-opening study. With saddened hearts, we pray that solutions will be found as we consider the long-term health of Earth’s once-pristine mountains and all beings.

United States firm produces tiny home on wheels.

Inspired by challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, a Seattle-based company called Modern Shed has created a tiny portable home that allows up to three people to live comfortably without public utilities. The 20-square meter Dwelling on Wheels (DW) features abundant windows, a full glass end wall, solar panels, a wood stove, electric heating, water and septic tank accommodations, a large bed, and more. The company envisioned the DW to allow people the flexibility to live wherever their priorities take them, or to enjoy a second home closer to nature. What a beautiful creation, Modern Shed. May your tiny home residents feel more freedom as well as the blessings of the natural world, in Heaven’s joy.

Women-led Finland garners attention and praise.

For over a year, the Finnish government has been led by a prime minister and coalition heads who are all female. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Her Excellency Sanna Marin and her cabinet, Finland is credited with reacting quickly to the COVID-19 pandemic, putting safety measures in place. In other areas, the government has reestablished guaranteed care for children under seven and is also working to ensure that fathers would have parental leave on a par with mothers. Meanwhile, on climate change, Finland sees itself as a global leader and plans to be carbon neutral by 2035. The 35-year-old popular Prime Minister Sanna Marin, who is also a vegetarian, is the third woman and the youngest person to serve in the role. Heaven bless the forward-thinking people of Finland and their leaders! Your country inspires the world by valuing the contributions of women for a more radiant future.

Coming up, first vegan support center opens in the Middle East. We’re going to pause now and go inward to reflect on how a problem can best be resolved. More motivating news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Outstanding News for a Connected World.

First vegan support center opens in Middle East.

The Lebanese Vegans Social Hub, dedicated to promoting the plant-based lifestyle, recently opened in the capital city of Beirut. The warm meeting place was founded by vegan animal rights advocate Seb Alex and the Lebanese Vegans organization, who together had supported over 2,000 families with free vegan food every day after the August 2020 explosion in Beirut. The activities to be offered in the renovated former cultural center include operating a plant-based café, running campaigns to promote veganism, offering workshops, lectures and documentary screenings, as well as giving free vegan meals to those in need. Despite the financial crisis in the country, the center has been raising funds and receiving international support. Congratulations, Seb Alex and Lebanese Vegans organization, on your fantastic new Social Hub. May your diligent efforts help to further encourage more people to transition to the life-changing plant-based lifestyle, in the Divine’s infinite care. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Vegan Incentive Award each to Seb Alex and the Lebanese Vegans, plus US$10,000 to humbly support your noble endeavors, with love and best wishes. May Heaven grant you all success, peace and happiness.”

Russian capital helps shelter animals find new homes.

Moscow’s Department of Transport and partners have introduced Tails and Paws, an online platform to find forever families for cats and dogs residing in shelters. A themed train featuring portraits of felines and canines from 15 shelters has been in operation since early November 2020. A QR code accompanies each photo, which leads to more information about the animal friend - describing her or his life story, character, health status, and how to prepare for the arrival of your new four-legged family member. A month following the launch of the project, over 200 adorable animals had been placed. What heart-touching news! Our gratitude, Transport Department of Moscow, partners as well as Tails and Paws, for your caring and creative efforts. In God’s abundant grace, may all our beloved homeless co-inhabitants have loving families to live with for the rest of their lives.

Now, please allow us to share this joke of the day with you entitled, “Insurance Salesman.”

An insurance salesman was trying to persuade a housewife to take out a life insurance policy.

“Now supposing your husband were to die, what would you get?”

“Oh, a bulldog, I think. They are always good company!”

And now we have a heartline from Shokufeh in Iran:

With my experience, I understand and fully appreciate Supreme Master’s words about unconditional love of animals and how they bring out our inner love. My gratitude to Supreme Master and appreciation for Her enlightening teachings. These are all gifts from Supreme Master. Shokufeh from Iran

Splendid Shokufeh, Thank you for your heartline. It is truly so; God has created the animals to be our helpers and companions. Their presence alone is already a blessing to our lives. We hope the world will be uplifted soon so that all beings can co-exist harmoniously in love and care under Heavens’ protection. May you and the peace-loving Iranians always enjoy Allah’s magnanimous grace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has some words for you: “Appreciative Shokufeh, the love of animals is beyond our human comprehension. They love without expecting anything in return. If humanity could do the same, all would lead lives of joy. May you and culturally rich Iran be blessed with serenity.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

We sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May your life be filled with glorious inner melodies.
