European Union, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate, provides emergency assistance to vulnerable women and girls in Yemen.
In response to COVID-19, the European Union (EU) has contributed €5 million to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to be used to sustain vital reproductive and mental health services for almost 400,000 people in eight governorates across the nation. In particular, focus will be on delivering emergency obstetric and maternal health care, mental health services, and emergency assistance for newly displaced women and girls. As a major supporter of UNFPA’s assistance in Yemen, the EU has pledged more than €19 million since 2018. Our heartfelt gratitude, the European Union, for your generous humanitarian aid. May the kind citizens of Yemen receive all they need to greet brighter tomorrows, in Heaven’s immense love.

Hallo, treasured friends, it’s me, Ashley the vegan Arctic Loon! All my friends love my easy-going vibe, because I’m a vegan! Try it for yourself and your friends will feel the same about you! I have an animal companion tip for you today. Cats scratch for a number of reasons, including for playing, communication and cleaning their claws. With some clean, reusable scrap wood, you can make your own cute and functional scratching post for your treasured cat friend. You will need animal-safe wood glue, two pieces of scrap wood (or nontoxic wood-free alternative), one measuring 50 x 15 centimeters and one 20 x 15 centimeters, two bundles of 9-meter-long sisal rope, and a staple gun. First, apply wood glue to the edge of the smaller wood piece. Set it flush and perpendicular to the end of the longer piece of wood to make an “L” shape. Then allow some time for drying. Next, use the two bundles of natural sisal rope and staple the end of the rope to the undersurface of the long part of “L”-shaped ramp to secure it. Then tightly wrap the rope around the board, stapling the rope under the board as you go. And there you have it – a new scratching post for your furry feline pal! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.
Forest park to be developed on former airport site in Senegal.
Dakar, the capital city of Senegal, will feature 10 hectares of new urban greenery on the site of the former Léopold Sédar Senghor Airport. In a report by Central African environmental news site Afrik21, Senegalese President, His Excellency Macky Sall, who initiated the eco-endeavor, said, “The park will be a relaxation area, consisting of woodland, bocage, marshes and playgrounds. It will also be a zone for the promotion of floristic biodiversity.” The project is part of the country’s “Green Senegal” initiative, which has the objective to make the country greener by 2035. What wonderful news! Our grateful accolades, Your Excellency Macky Sall, for your nature- preserving actions. May the pristine beauty of Senegal be restored and forever protected, in Celestial radiance.
Study finds smiling improves your outlook.
Dr. Fernando Marmolejo-Ramos and co-researchers from the University of South Australia, evaluated the effect of smiling on the interpretation of body and facial expressions. Published in the peer-reviewed journal, Experimental Psychology, the study involved participants holding a pen between their teeth, forcing their facial muscles to replicate a smile. They were then shown video clips of faces ranging from frowning to smiling as well as clips of happy walking to sad walking. The researchers found that with the mimicked smile, participants viewed facial expressions and body language as more positive, than without a smile. Dr. Marmolejo-Ramos explained that when you force a smile, “it stimulates the amygdala – the emotional center of the brain, which releases neurotransmitters to encourage an emotionally positive state.” Much appreciation, Dr. Fernando Marmolejo-Ramos and co- researchers, for this fascinating information. In Heaven’s upliftment, let’s all spread some happiness today and share a smile!

Remorseful dog slaughterhouse owners in Cambodia switch to humane livelihood.
Buth Pith and his wife Khath Hach closed the canine abattoir they had operated since 2012 in Kampong Thom Province, after Austria-headquartered animal welfare group FOUR PAWS International agreed to facilitate the building of a small grocery shop for them to operate as an alternative livelihood. The owners, who expressed desperation to get out of the cruel business, pledged to never take part in the inhumane trade again. Ms. Hach said her parents had warned her that according to Buddhist teachings, the sinful trade would bring bad luck for this life and future incarnations. With the closure, up to 3,000 canines will be saved annually. All 15 dogs rescued on-site will be rehabilitated at FOUR PAWS’ local partner, Animal Rescue Cambodia, until they find loving forever homes. Both FOUR PAWS and Animal Rescue Cambodia are Shining World Compassion Award laureates. Our sincere gratitude, FOUR PAWS International and Animal Rescue Cambodia, and Heaven bless you, Buth Pith and Khath Hach, for your noble choice to change. May all beings bask blissfully in a kind vegan world in Buddha’s infinite compassion.
Laughter is good for health, so we chose a joke of the day for you called “Proud Granddaughter.”
“Grandpa, I’m really proud of you.”
“What is to be proud of?”
“I noticed that when you sneeze, you put your hand in front of your mouth.”
“Of course, how else can I catch my teeth?”
And now we have a heartline from Xiao-Zhu in China:
I love watching Supreme Master Television. Every time listening to Master’s lectures, my soul was so imbued with, amazed at, and awakened by Master’s love, compassion, nobility and beauty, that I shed tears from the bottom of my heart. I love Master so deeply. However diligently I practice, I still couldn’t repay a tiny part of Master’s grace. Thank You, Master!!!
The background music of Supreme Master TV is so beautiful, which calms and relaxes my heart with peace and joy. Many thanks to the television team for your meticulous efforts. I also have learned many new facts from Supreme Master Television. There was an episode introducing the meaningful existence of animals in our world – they beautify the world, they are friends of humankind, and we should help them and thank them instead of harming them. Please, treat animals kindly! May all wonderful qualities spread through your channel, stay forever and prevail in all corners of the world, thus making all universes better and better!
I’d like to present a poem to my Great Master!
I have sung a song. Have You heard it? It’s the feelings from the bottom of my heart, my real sentiments, in yearning....
Master’s compassionate eyes touched my heart so deeply. Tears in the corners of my eyes tell it all about boredom of the world.
But my soul cannot but bear sufferings and sorrows of the world. Where is Heaven? Where are love and happiness?
At the wisdom eye I’m searching, within us, with full effort and longing, for the magnificent sound which penetrates pure hearts and softly vibrates.
Lead the soul to enter the Divine Heaven, even just for a short while, our heart will be strong, and full of incomparable bliss. I’m striving to reach the Palace. Xiao-Zhu from China
Compassionate Xiao-Zhu, Thank you for sharing your beautiful feelings about Supreme Master Ching Hai and the thoughtful poem. We are pleased to hear your positive comments regarding the programs and music on Supreme Master Television and, yes, our animal friends are truly precious beings to be honored and respected in our world. May the Buddhas continue to bless all denizens of planet Earth. In Celestial radiance, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master said: “Honorable Xiao-Zhu, I can sense the love with which the poem was written. The longing for our home in Heaven is within all of us, whether we are conscious of it or not. May serenity be forever with you and the gracious people of China.”
