Here is a handy tip on how to get rid of your Google search history on your mobile device if you don't want them to track this data and store it into your Google account for the purpose of improving and personalizing future search results. Start by launching the Google app on your smartphone. Next, on the top right-hand corner of your screen, select your profile picture. The Search History menu will appear. Tap on it to see a list of your recent activity. You will then be able to scroll through to view all your recent searches online. You can hit the cross (X) to delete a specific result from the menu or you have the option to delete everything. You can also select a custom date range if you want to remove results within a certain time frame. Turn on “Incognito” or “Private” modes on your phone for Chrome and Safari, respectively, if you want to keep things secret and don’t want your browser recording the pages you visit on the web.
This seems like a good moment to bring the joke of the day out of the hilarity storage. It’s entitled “Hiding in Plain Sight.”
A woman called in a repairman to fix her television. Just as he finished, the woman heard her husband's key in the lock.
“Hurry! You'll have to hide. My husband is incredibly jealous.”
There was no time to run out the back door, so the repairman hid in the cabinet under the TV. The husband came in and plopped down in his favorite chair to watch some football. Inside the cabinet, the repairman was all squished up and getting hotter and hotter. Finally, he couldn't stand it anymore. He climbed out, marched across the room and out the front door. The husband looked at the TV set, looked at his wife, looked back at the set again and said:
“Uh, I didn't see the referee send that guy off the pitch, did you?”
