As you’ll be in the kitchen a bit more, I have a tip for you on how to clean your wooden utensils by hand. It is better not to place them in the dishwasher because the high temperatures and lengthy cycles cause damage to the wooden utensils. Utilize hot water and a mild dish soap instead. Scrub the utensils with either a washcloth or a bristled brush. Prop them up to dry. This will allow an even airflow around them to help evenly dry the wood and reduce the effects of expanding and contracting that occurs when wood gets wet. To keep your wooden utensils looking nice, you can apply a coat of oil, which will serve as a protective layer and help control its moisture content. In turn, this not only helps prevent fading, splitting and cracking but also the wood's ability to resist absorbing stains and odors.
Let’s hop on the chuckle race car and move toward the joke of the day. It’s entitled, “Eyes Closed.”
A man on a bus was sitting in a seat with his eyes closed. His friend noticed, and asked him:
“Are you OK? Why are you closing your eyes?”
“I am fine. I just hate to see old ladies standing.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Ling-Chiu in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Hallo, respected and Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, I’d like to share the videos and pictures of the cute little guests, the warbling white-eye-persons, that visited my potted sweet osmanthus in early April to build a nest and hatch their eggs. One of the warbling white-eye-persons laid three eggs on April 21, which then hatched into baby birds eight days later. The bird-father and bird-mother worked hard every day to feed their babies until May 10, when they left the nest.
Through these videos, I felt the bird-parents’ love and the magic of the Creator every day. God’s Love was showered upon the bird-persons. Seeing that life is so beautiful, we human beings should strive to cherish all lives. I pray that the world be in peace, Master’s Holy body be in safety and good health, and that the Supreme Master TV team can be safe and happy. Respectfully, Ling-Chiu, initiate from Taiwan (Formosa)
Tenderhearted Ling-Chiu, What a pleasant surprise! Their presence enlivened your garden. Thank you for sharing, and your warm prayers. May the skies of thriving Taiwan (Formosa) radiate tranquil energy, in the abundant Blessings of Buddha, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has a response to your sweet photos: “Attentive Ling-Chiu, it seems like your little visitors are full of the joy of spring. The images of the precious chicks certainly touch my heart. When we closely observe and nurture the animal-people, we discover subtle teachings that make our lives better. May the adorable animal-folk continue to brighten your days and those of the vivacious Taiwanese (Formosan) people.”
