I have a computer tip on how to enhance startup performance on a new computer. It's crucial to eliminate the burden of unnecessary pre-installed apps that automatically launch upon startup, also known as bloatware. Disabling these programs will help, but why not just uninstall them. From Windows 10 or 11 you can uninstall pre-installed apps from the Start Menu: Click the Start icon and locate the pinned apps. Right-click on an app and select "Uninstall." For other apps, go to All apps, scroll down, right-click, and choose "Uninstall." To uninstall bloatware from Settings: Access Settings from the Start menu. Click on "Apps" and then "Apps & features." Scroll through the app list to find the unwanted software. Click the three dots next to the app and select "Uninstall," or use the search function to locate the app. By following these steps to remove unnecessary bloatware, you can streamline your computer's startup and improve overall performance.
Ready to roll in laughter? Well, here comes the joke of the day! It’s called “Just Say It.”
A father was talking to his guests, and his son kept running in and out of the room as if he wanted to say something to his dad….
“Don't run in and out anymore! If you need to tell me something, just say it, son.”
“Mom told me to tell you to make sure the guests don’t stay for dinner!”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Mu-Lin in China:
It is truly pitiful and heartbreaking that people have been tortured helplessly by the COVID-19 pandemic. I just want to make a loud appeal: “Please listen to the teachings of Supreme Master Ching Hai, the living enlightened Master, and all be vegan. Then the pandemic will subside very soon. It is for sure because ‘all beings are one’ is absolutely true.”
Let me talk a little about my own personal experience. On my 2010 trip to Jiuzhaigou, as I looked around the surrounding majestic pristine forest, I instantly recalled Master’s poem “Please Wake Up.” And deep in my heart, I sent blessings to the trees and wished that they would protect themselves well. Immediately, I received a response –– from the sky came the sound of the Five Holy Names which entered the depths of my heart. The trees echoed each other’s chanting. It really touched me. Even trees have souls and understand everything, let alone animal-people that have blood, flesh and feelings, and hope to be loved just like us. Wars, various natural disasters, and plagues in the world are all due to the negative energy created by humans. To root them out, we have to cultivate compassion and love, and be vegan. And the first person who benefits from doing so will be you yourself! I wish everyone will awaken very soon! Respectfully, Mu-Lin, a viewer from China
Astute Mu-Lin, Learning about your soulful experience in the forest has brought us much joy. Our hearts go out in appreciation to all the trees and plants who share their magnificent beauty with us, help provide clean air, and sacrifice for humanity. Thank you. May you and illustrious China be nurtured in Nature’s loving embrace. In Divine Light, Supreme Master TV team
