You’ve all heard that the vegan diet is the world peace diet, so today I would like to report how going vegan can prevent wars. Animal-based diets strain essential resources, with 70% of U.S. grain directed to feeding livestock, requiring vast water resources for both animal-people and crop irrigation. This results in competition for water and food resources, which can result in conflicts. Furthermore, animal-person meat production is a key climate change contributor, exacerbating widespread population displacement through extreme weather events. This surge in climate-induced refugees increases the likelihood of political instability, violence, and war, as recently witnessed in civil wars triggered by droughts and agricultural collapse in Syria and Sudan. Adopting a vegan lifestyle is therefore the best approach for avoiding these dangers.
Let’s embark on a laughter excursion with the following joke. It’s entitled “Mistaken Courtesy.”
Two girlfriends were chatting over dinner at a restaurant. A man at the next table received a call but told the caller to hold on while he stepped outside. When he returned, one of the ladies said:
“That was very thoughtful of you, sir. Thank you.”
“Well, I really had no choice. You two were making too much noise!”

And now we have a heartline from Chien-Chi in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Twenty years ago, when I was in my teens, I’d read Master’s book in Taiwan (Formosa), but I didn’t know where Master went afterwards. In recent years, I saw on a big TV screen in a night market and knew that Master has Supreme Master Television.
This year, I went through low moments such as moving house, falling ill, and the death of my baby bird. I prayed in my heart that I could learn and comprehend the lesson of life and death. It happened that in one Supreme Master TV program, Master said that the most precious thing in life is not riches and wealth but having an enlightened Master to guide you on the correct path of going Home. Master’s door is still open to people who’d like to get initiation, which gave me an intense urge and hope to get initiation. I used to be an ovo-lacto vegetarian. After contacting the Kaohsiung Center last month, I immediately learned to adopt a vegan diet to prepare myself.
Since there’re not many people who are vegan, I felt that I was not a normal person, thus sometimes feeling lonely. Later, one day, when riding a bike home and feeling disappointed, I raised my head and happened to see Supreme Master’s big screen ad along the road: “Being vegan and loving the Earth will form a protective shield and bring good energy to people around you,” which strengthened my determination to continue my vegan diet. Thank you, Supreme Master Television, for affirming that my vegan diet is correct, and inspiring me to yearn for enlightenment.
Finally, though not yet initiated and not knowing how to meditate, I watch Supreme Master TV every day at nine o’clock and sit still to meditate for the Earth with Master and the initiated brothers and sisters. My bird-babies were the ones who led me into spiritual practice. I’d like to share my cute bird-babies’ images with everyone and Master. Chien-Chi from Taiwan (Formosa)
Aspiring Chien-Chi, We thank you for your heartline. We celebrate your having the good fortune to be vegan and connect with our Beloved Master. May you, all the animal-people in the world, and wholesome Taiwan (Formosa), trust in the Divine to lead you to your true Home. In Universal Peace, Supreme Master TV team
