NoToDogMeat is a movement that protects dog- and cat-people from inhumane treatment. It was founded by Julia de Cadenet (vegetarian), began the initiative in 2009. The organization takes part in varied actions to protect the sweet animal-folk, which includes lobbying governments for the creation of animal-person welfare laws. In 2013, NoToDogMeat held protests in 36-plus towns and cities worldwide. In the same year, they presented a short film at the Cannes Film Festival about the horrendous canine meat trade in Korea. This raised public awareness of the slaughtering that was occurring, and prompted many activists to support their work. Presently, the charity operates in several countries, and has established shelters for rescued dog- and cat-persons. The organization was also granted Special Consultative Status by the United Nations in 2018.
“NoToDogMeat is the acronym for our charity World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade. We are a campaign that was set up about 13 years ago after I witnessed the dog meat trade in China with my own eyes. And then, we formed a charity behind that, so that we could campaign and educate and try to change the hearts and minds of all of those in Asia who are using dogs and cats for food, fur and traditional medicine.”
Upon learning about its noble work, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan): “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to NoToDogMeat, plus a humble contribution of US$10,000 to help with medical expenses of those rescued, with all love and gratitude.” Our Association members from the United Kingdom presented the Award on Master’s behalf.
“This Award is presented in recognition of NoToDogMeat’s heroic actions and willingness to challenge powerful interests, and awaken humanity to the atrocities inflicted on our adored animal friends…” “For treating all beings with dignity and respect, and providing the space and time for saved animal-folk to recover and learn to trust again; with a grateful heart, we praise the courageous deeds of NoToDogMeat and its valiant rescuers…”
Ms. de Cadenet was touched to receive the Award letter, crystalline plaque, Master’s financial gift as well as Her publications and DVDs on behalf of the NoToDogMeat team.
“Thank You so much, Supreme Master Ching Hai. Thank you so much, all of you. All of you loving vegans, all of you people who care about the Universe, care about animals. This means so much to us. In our work, it’s been a long struggle because we know that change is not easy. But we truly believe that step by step, no action is too small. And that working together, we can change our consciousness and we can change the beliefs of people and we can work towards a more compassionate nation. I’m accepting this Award on behalf of all of the team of NoToDogMeat, both here in the UK and also in China and Cambodia and every country where brave activists put their life on the line day in and day out to make a difference. And above all, I would like to dedicate the Award to the many dogs and cats who are no longer with us. We wanted to save you all. It was not possible. But you will always be in our hearts and we will never stop until this cruelty ends.”
We extend our congratulations to the NoToDogMeat team. May your dedicated and kind actions continue to save many more precious cat- and dog-people lives. We pray that the world is soon vegan, with endless compassion to all animal-persons, in Heaven’s bountiful grace.

Parts of Mississippi River sink to historic lows due to persistent drought.
As an ongoing drought grips the Midwestern United States, the water level of the Mississippi River in the state of Tennessee plummeted to a record low on October 17, 2022. Flowing from the northern to the southern US, the approximately 3,700-kilometer river is the country’s most vital inland waterway, transporting 92% of its agricultural exports. According to the US Coast Guard, over 2,000 barges have been backed up at various points of the river from the insufficient water depths, which has led to severe shipment delays and supply chain disruptions. Moreover, the alarmingly shallow water has also revealed relics, human remains and a 19th century shipwreck. Scientists explain that human-induced global warming has changed Earth’s water system, as rising temperatures are increasing water evaporation and disrupting the atmospheric and ocean currents, leading to volatile and extreme weather events. As we pray for more favorable conditions, may humanity urgently embrace the environmentally friendly vegan lifestyle to stabilize the planet’s climate systems, in the upliftment of the Providence. Vegan: enemy who?
Up next, Greece marks green energy production milestone. We’re just going to thank the cargo pilots who fly airplanes that transport freight for companies. We’ll return with more leading news after this message here on Supreme Master Television.
Hi joyful friends, I’m Arthur, a vegan bro from the Ankole-Watusi kingdom. My days bloom with kindness as I share the message of the benevolent plant-based way with everyone I meet. Only through adopting this heart-opening lifestyle, we can reach peace and happiness in this world and beyond! Here’s a useful tip on how to clean your smartphone’s speaker grille. Cleaning it will aid in keeping it in good condition and help make sure the audio quality doesn’t get compromised. There are multiple methods; however, using compressed air is one of the safest ways to eliminate dust from sensitive and hard-to-reach areas on your phone like the speaker grille. Set the nozzle close to the grille and gently brush the debris away. Alternatively, you can use masking tape. Just tear off a piece of tape and wrap it around your finger and carefully pat the grille to remove dust and surface dirt from it. You can also use a dry cotton swab to get rid of dust and an alcohol-based cleaner spray to take off the stubborn dirt. Thank you for your attention, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.
Greece powers entire nation for period with renewable energy.

The Independent Power Transmission Operator released statistics showing that 3,106 megawatts were produced, which exceeded the net load capacity of the system. The nation endeavors to have 25 gigawatts of sustainable power in operation by the year 2030. It also is looking to export electricity to other European nations and plans to link its power grid to Israel and Cyprus through the world’s deepest and longest sea cable by 2025. Twenty-three-year-old man runs over 3,900 kilometers across Australia to raise money for charity.
On a mission to fundraise for the homeless support group “We Are Mobilise,” Nedd Brockmann started his cross-country run from Perth, Western Australia, running for 46 days and 12 hours, averaging 80 kilometers per day to his final destination, Bondi Beach in Sydney. Upon arrival, he was greeted by thousands of enthusiastic supporters. Mr. Brockmann ran through all kinds of weather conditions and different types of terrain. Although enduring tremendous fatigue and numerous injuries, he kept going, committed to challenging himself and bringing attention to people experiencing homelessness. Mr. Brockmann’s fundraising totaled over US$1.6 million, exceeding his original target of approximately US$642,000. This is not Mr. Brockmann’s first run for charity. Heartbroken bobcat baby cared for by cat-foster mom.
A six-week-old bobkitten crying out for her mother was found by rescuers from the Millstone Wildlife Center in New Hampshire, USA. She was healthy but too small to be with other bobcats at the center and was therefore transferred to Spicy Cats, a rescue and rehabilitation center for feral felines. Fortunately, Honeybun, a loving cat-mother who has raised many litters of kittens not her own, adopted the gorgeous bobcat. Under Honeybun’s loving care, the bobcat-infant overcame her sadness and became happy and playful. When she grows a little older, she will be transferred to the Millstone Wildlife Center and eventually released into the wild. Thank you, Honeybun, Spicy Cats, and rescuers from the Millstone Wildlife Center, for opening your hearts to care for an adorable bobcat-gal. May she be free to roam safely in her natural habitat soon, in Divine comfort.
Well, you don’t have to thank us if you burst out into loud guffaws from this joke of the day entitled “Frugal Husband.”
A frugal husband bought some clothes for his wife. After she tried them on, she said:
“These are too big. They will never fit me!”
“Never say never...”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Fang-Yin in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Give thanks to Master’s Grace. Give thanks to the Great Supreme Master China Hai! This is from a fellow sister initiate’s father: “Give thanks to Master’s Grace.” The day after the fellow sister initiate’s father passed away, he came back with Master to express his gratitude for Master’s Grace. He was just a normal person who practiced the Convenient Method. However, because he had started to be a vegan and helped in rescuing and caring for homeless dog-people, Master said, “Since he kept the vegan diet, didn’t kill, and helped in saving homeless dog-people’s lives, I’ve brought him up to the New Realm to practice spiritually.” That’s why he departed from the world without any suffering. Here’s his message to the world: Be vegan, hurt no life, and then you’ll be able to die happily and go to the Buddha’s Land happily. Thank You, Master, for Your Immense Grace! Fang-Yin from Taiwan (Formosa)
Considerate Fang-Yin, Our thanks for passing on these important messages.
Master wrote the following to you: “Genuine Fang-Yin, we are grateful, as there are many not initiated wonderful souls in the world, nobly working for a vegan planet and/or saving the valuable lives of our precious animal-people. Some of this marvelous work is aired daily on Supreme Master Television, while many others work quietly AS UNSUNG HEROES in the background. On passing, we will all be blessed according to our individual merit. With much Love, I pray that you, your friends and loved ones, and fine Taiwan (Formosa) may know the wisdom of the Divine in your daily lives.”
“It's really important to understand that the Torah itself also has a deep commitment to preventing animal suffering. And that we call it tza'ar ba'alei chayim, this idea of animal suffering is something that we're all required to avoid.” ~ The Reverend Rabbi Jonathan Klein (vegan)
