Here’s a tip on how to humanely get rid of fruit flies if they turn up. First, you will need to pour 100 milliliters, or half a cup, of cider vinegar into a clean, empty jar. Next, take a sheet of paper and roll it into a funnel and set it in the top of the jar. The vinegar smell will attract the flies. Once the flies are trapped in the jar, set them free outside away from your house. It is common to have more fruit flies during the summer months because fruits ripen quicker in hot weather. You can try to keep them from returning by refrigerating as much fresh produce as possible. Flies have a great sense of smell; therefore, it is important you keep your waste bin clean. Be sure to rinse off any food residue from tins or other food packaging before tossing them into the bin. Furthermore, keep the bins in the shade so they are as cool as possible, and ensure the lids on the bins are shut tight.
We just heard that the joke of the day is headed our way, so let’s get prepared. It’s entitled “When Did You Not Understand?”
A math teacher was explaining the algebraic binomial theorem to his class. After filling up the whole blackboard with the proof, he then turned to the students and asked:
“Class, do you understand this theorem now?”
All the students in the class were silent except Joanne, who stood up and said:
“Teacher, I don’t understand.”
The teacher pointed to the blackboard and said:
“Joanne, so at what point did you not understand?”
Joanne paused for a couple seconds and then said:
“It’s been since last semester!”
??!!
And now we have a heartline from Chia-Jung and Chia-Hua in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:
Beloved Master, I had a chat with an old friend recently to discuss our dreams in this life. I once said, some 20 years ago, that my passion in this life was to promote a healthy lifestyle and spread spiritual messages.
After initiation into the Quan Yin Method in 2016, I came to realize that our body is the temple to house the connection with God. Only the cruelty-free vegan diet is allowed to nurture our precious body to ensure the purity. The truth is that nurturing our body is for the sake of spiritual progress to reach God. The epiphany that dawned on me was that following Master’s vision to achieve “World Vegan, World Peace” is the mission in my life.
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” It took me 20 years and across half of the globe to be enlightened by Master. I pledge that I shall devote the rest of my life to support Master’s mission of “World Vegan, World Peace.”
I sincerely wish the greatest health and longevity to our Beloved Master and the earliest realization of “World Vegan, World Peace.” Yours truly, Chia-Jung and Chia-Hua from Taiwan (Formosa)
Sparkling Chia-Jung and Chia-Hua, Thank you for your heartline. It is wonderful to hear of your deep devotion to Master and to “World Vegan, World Peace.”
Master has these kind words for you: “Wise Chia-Jung and Chia-Hua, it is true that we must take good care of our physical body so that we are able to continue our Quan Yin practice and serve the world. Our body is a gift from Heaven. Your mission has been clear to you from a young age and it is good that it is coming to fruition. My prayers for you and the loving Taiwanese (Formosan) people to have a deep and lasting peace.”
